I will do it on my dana 30 from jeep wj,there should bd cast steel C's .Which welding metod would you use ? I cosidering mma with nickel or stainless sticks and preheat it before, or mig with co ?

You don't have to worry about ruining the temper of the steel?

nodular iron, is ok up to 450, some alloys no more than 350 for sure.

Ken MacMillan they are not heat treated in the first place so no temper to lose. But general rule of thumb if you dont go over 500 you wont change the temper of a low allow steel

You do know that reverse rotational gears are available for the 14 bolt. Most people do not know that.

four wheelers need to get away from the adds in wheel mags . Look at what is available to the mining industry ,logging ,and ag . The make 40 inch floater tires speed rated at 56 miles an hour . Yes dot legal . How could you loose in a dot class with aliance 380 flotation tires ,they come in 18 inches wide and 30 inches wide

There web sight is stupid . There are tire dealers that tell the bar height ,and additional sizes . The aliance 380 tread pattern is rated at 43 they do have a version rated at 62 with a height of 40 inches with 2 widths available 20 and 30 inches the bar height is 39 /32 . The price on those I remember to be 1400 dollars . Just explore the ag tire sights and book mark the tire you like are you may not find it back . The mickey tompsan baja claw been around longer than super swamper as an over the road grain cart and shit wagon street tire
