The heli pilot is definitely a good choice. Not only can it move your alch, but instead of letting full on grouped fortified ceramics to blow through your defense, you can just get like 8 pops on your heli pilot and blow them all back for Gwen to get the rest of the hundreds of pops! (So not only would other towers not steal the pops, but it can also help to save you from leaks or just help you pop the bloons easier in general)

Could've even moved Gwen at the bottom for the Bad or other rounds, so she could clean up bloons that woulda been stolen pops

love these 2 megapop challenges and it made me take up your challenge of getting 2 MP with gwen and i was able to do it with some slight optimizations on your setup. i even used your tackzone idea on the bad. i managed to get 2,005,239 pops on gwen. thank you for adding so much fun back into this game for me even if i am a little late to the videos.

The cocktail can be thrown in the center of that square where Gwen is standing and still hit the track surrounding it. Might give you more pops and a bit less trying to micro.

When I was almost done with it I kept thinking, "if he pulls this off this is gonna be a crazy achievement" even though it was barely off the mark, this video is still great. 4:12 don't put the alch on range of the village is already stealing pops if you give him extra range and the attack speed you are only making worst on yourself

Lovd the 2MP challenges! I know you know these strategies cause you talk about them in other videos but make sure your buffing alch isnt in the village range so it doesnt get attack speed, range, and the ability to damage camos. Also your alch started buffing the moab glue when you placed it in range which doesn't help. For Gwen, due to her poor single target damage, you'd likely need to budget at least 10k pops to allow for a spike storm or first strike to help with the BAD Also, permabrew doesnt actually improve the buff by that much, I think it gives like +1 damage to moabs or something. However the full uptime of course does help a ton for towers with high attack speeds

a different map for this would help, just too many pops got stolen throughout, and since gwen cannot pop the bad on her own you need to use something to help her get through that layer on 100 so you need a decent amount of leeway going into round 100

love the 2 mil pop chalenge vids a lot but if you want to try again try placing the alcemist last and try getting a gluestorm it makes the bloons take extra dammage (during its abilety) like the top path sniper

You should just try 1-0-4 glues, I have gotten a few 2mp with different heroes using those, they do really well even into late game, and don't cost very much

I saw room for some improvement but I don’t think It’d add up to 20k pops… I think a new tech entirely would be needed to get the 2MP on Gwen. Probably logs or cubism and chinook the alch away idk.

the rbe of round 100 is 65000, so when gwen had more than that ammount short of the 2 mil at the start of 100 it was known to be a loss, big rip

SJB you should try a downdraft for clean up so maybe you could get some more pops for your hero, then you could upgrade it into a chinook so you can move away your alch when you get permabrew. Love the vids Also, is overclock and call to arms additive or multiplicative?

I dont see downdraft working. It could get quite a few pops because unlike alchemist, 000 heli pilot is quite destructive.

You should do a CHIMPS run with no chimps. Different hero skins would count as long as the skin makes them something other than a chimp.

Gwen is a bit weird hero to alc buff. She scales decently well due to multiple projectiles and low damage but due to her super high attack rate, 401 alc buff uptime is not super high, up to 50%. P-brew in others makes Gwen noticeably stronger. But I still think Homeland and 1st strike or Spike storm for BAD would've been better play.

I'd say get the alc as late as possible wasn't able to see but it didn't seem like you struggled too much when you first got it which could save you a couple thousand pops but overall get as much as you can as late as you can to get as many early pops as possible which can move the total to nearer to 90k instead of 80 and also possibly moving the tac to the very front so it has a smaller window of attack can save you like 6k
