If you get 502 ice, it synergizes with the other ice monkeys. 520 doesn't work on already frozen Bloons because it doesn't have refreeze. Normally 520 is better, but with other ice monkeys around 502 is way better.

First Strike beats round 100 and loses to 97, but only when you have to wait for the cooldown at the beginning of the round. In that case it needs 7 activations for 97 and only 5 for 100, because one of the fortified ZOMGs gets damaged by the splash damage of the missile and pops into BFBs.

A combo that beats the B.A.D. but loses to 97 is 502 and 205 snipers with a 230 village

theres another way you can lose to 97 but not 100 thats actually not that hard, but its not really a combo: if youre saving up for a tier 5 that will kill the BAD (and 97), and haven't afforded it yet (but will after 98 and 99)

oh theres another way i just thought of - it might not happen on resort, but if youre relying on an ability to kill the bad (e.g. spike storms or perma charge) and you used it at the end of 96, the ZOMGs can potentially get through before your ability comes back idk if it counts though, since it will only happen if you misplay because youre not thinking about 97 actually wait, i tested a little because i was curious how specific it has to be to matter, and... most towers i tested either couldn't kill the bad, or killed round 97 even when you miss one ability usage so maybe it can still come up (esp since i never tested hero abilities) but its a REALLY small edge case

Important to note that Absolute Zero increases the attack speed of other ice monkeys by 50%, so it does buff the icicle impale as well. Also it seems you forgot to change the description, it still says glue lol. That said, great video, fun challenge.

I wonder if this would have been easier with something such as ezili or maybe pat fusty since both can do quite a bit against moabs and are cheaper. I was wrong about the refreeze part and embrittlement regardless, a cool thing about this challenge is that it also acts as an axis challenge, which is where you have to finish chimps with all three tier 5s of a tower

I reckon ezili would have been perfect, but not many people like to use her unfortunately. Edit: I have actually tried with ezili quite a few times and I don’t actually think it’s possible to beat 98 while also saving enough money for level 20 ezili by round 100, so maybe Churchill is the best choice. EDIT AGAIN - IT IS POSSIBLE - I managed to do it on balance, where ezili levels up much faster.

Til brittle without refreeze cannot apply extra damage effect to slowed Bloons from other ice effects. Lame Also, Chris and OP, did you know brittle and super brittle stack? Both Debuffs apply. Best to get a 402 and 502 it sounds.

I think Churchill and ice are totally doable. The easy way would be getting CH lvl20. But anyway, I gave this experiment a quick try. With an ice platform and 502 super-brittle on it, SB can hit BAD all over the place. On my best run, I managed to pop everything down to MOABs.

I love attempting your challenges and taking what I've learned from watching you do it and putting my own spin on them. After a few dozen tries I was able to do ice monkey only on resort with ezili, however I couldnt buy a super britle instead spending around 50k or so on ezili to get her to 20 by 100.

You should make a series on testing out all the heroes on chimps showing their strengths and weaknesses. use some support and try to beat chimps with different strategies with every hero on different maps to show what their Best at. And what synergies work best.

Did you know that if you activate the snowstorm ability when you have absolute zero then all ice monkeys attack 50% faster for the duration of the snowstorm. Using this you could have timed this to made your icicle impale better and maybe beat it in your first playthrow

Try it with ezili and just upgrade ezili once when round 40 starts, then again after all 5th tiers placed (including middle, middle is op) and an extra top 4th at top of mini loop Ezilily win

You'd do much more damage to the round 100 BAD if you put Churchill above the water track intersection. He would shoot sooner, still reach a crossfire on the small loop, and shoot sooner again on anything headed to the exit.

You can beat round 100 with the three ice monkeys and lvl 20 Adora very easily. I don't know if you could get there with a lvl 20 Adora but if you manage it it's easy. I don't know if this is due to balance changes made after you recorded this video or not but I figured I would share. I tested in sand box with a 5-2-0, 2-5-0 and a 2-0-5 ice monkey for reference. Edit: I forgot about the camo whites. I think that makes the challenge impossible with Adora.

Huh, Cryo Cannon used to be unable to attack MOABs? Then again, even now it does very little damage to them. The combo of Super Brittle, Icicle Impale, and a quick-firing tower like Churchy is indeed potent against MOABs. I think your worry about DDTs when getting top path for Snowstorm is exaggerated- Cryo Cannon eats those titans for Christmas dinner. 20:20 Indeed, slowing MOABs is satisfying. Throw in a bottom-path glue gunner and some boomers, and it feels like you can stop them in their tracks!

From what I saw you almost had it so the solution is a level 20 Churchill. You had the chance a few times but you didn't purchase the levels. The efficient way of purchasing levels is waiting for the bar to be almost towards the end whatever you feel is reasonable I think 1-5K is reasonable and if you can purchase in that area you can speed level to 20 Affordably
