Personally I think the three earlier rounds were better, Malibu seemed to be too much of a lottery IMO. I think the eliminator format would be better, if they did the three tri's back to back with no 4 minute rest period (or say only a 1 minute rest). It just means (unless your first name is Flora or Kristian :) the first two rounds are just about avoiding elimination, which isn't a big problem for most of the stronger athletes but makes for pedestrian racing. Much better to let the athletes who work hard from the gun keep any time advantage they've earned.

Super League Triathlon (SLT) is the best viewing of all the triathlons out there. SLT also distributes the most $ to the tirathletes which is great for the sport. Perhaps rethink having the short chute which in my opinion detracts from the competition.

What a great series of racing. I hoping that this is the format going forward. A month of continuous racing and the say a handful of arena games over the winter. Coincidentally a bit like people’s training moving from outdoor to indoor as the dark nights draw in. There are a few things to work on in the format of these races however: Annie - On top form for the last two races in the commentary role. Have to keep her there shame about the technical issues with her mic but in that role she’s awesome and think Richard was good value also. I remember years back Ali Brownlee did a similar job would be nice to see him do a few rounds also. Short Shute - think this has now become a gimmick and retracts from the racing. Remove the shore Shute = More sprint finishes = better more exciting racing. Points system - seems daft Jess can win three races in a four round race series and not win overall. Something I think should be done to address this. Jerseys - there was no coloured jerseys this season. Please bring them back. Much easier for the neutral to work out who’s leading the series / disciplines. Broadcasting - minor improvements in the broadcasting and removal of technical issues. Think Kate this year did an excellent job. Aero bars - no place in Superleague racing. Think the same for ITU also. Mixed Team Relay - would love to see this introduced as a one off extra race for the teams with additional points

Would also add think the money element being presented is a bit distasteful. Ok tell us what’s on offer but to constantly reference it and then parade the eagles with a cheque like they had just done a fun run and raised money for charity didn’t look very good in my opinion. Would like to see a focus on the trophy or medals or jerseys. I mean footballers get paid a fortune but the focus is more on the tournament cup and the glory it brings rather than referencing how much cash they are earning or winning. Same with the jerseys in the Tour de France proud to wear it rather than happy to get a cheque.

nah, complete disagreement. These are pros and they're not just racing for glory, but to make money and survive in their chosen sport. I'm happy to see them making money in what they're doing since they don't get high salaries like footballers - each race matters.

Some fantastic racing. Such a great job for all the athletes. My one critique is; get that motor bike farther off the front!! Whoever ended up in that front group had a very unfair draft advantage over the chasers. Not discounting the work from the bike leaders whatsoever, but it changes the race dynamics in an unfair and unintended way!

It’s actually more of a base layer type suit which huub helped me with for cold non wetsuit swims as I suffer with the cold!

not a fan of the elimination format. The problem with it is that as long as you dont get eliminated the only carry forward from the first two triathlons is two short chutes and "more time to prepare and rest" between races. This just isn't enough carry forward to make it worth while even trying early on (unless you believe you can get the chute) If you're going to have an elimination race then make it a proper elimination race - eliminate two people at the end of every phase.

Must say this one left me a bit sour. The bike course was horribly skinny and dusty. And the points system!? How can someone that didn't even finish all the swims in the championship be the swim champion? And last, how can a wild card be allowed to enter the championship decider when they clearly cant contend for the championship? Its so unfair to everyone else.
