Short shoot should be awarded to the winner of the first 3 legs in total but not just after the swim. Those who are not great swimmers can never get it this way.

I think the short shoot should be awarded to the first person over the line after the first run. This then incentivises athletes to push hard for the first round of the swim/bike/run and will hopefully bring in more opportunities for different tactics. While also ensuring the best swimmer does not win the short shoot each time.

Suggestion: Multiple on the ground roaming reporters creates confusion in coverage. Having someone talk to the athletes coming across the line and another person ask them the same questions in the recovery tent is a little strange. I think Annie is best (like she does for the BBC) in the commentary role providing insight and sats. She is far more effective there challenging the lads like she does on the podcast than in a roaming role so suggest that is implemented.

The "team" concept falls flat in what is, by definition, an ultra Individual sport.

I guess SLT should change how the short chute is awarded. This shouldn't be always granted for the best swimmer but the best all round in the three discipline. Taking as an example for this race in the video, the first to across the first swim-bike-run in the second round should be the one to get it and use as it want in any discipline when racing the second swim-bike-run leg.

Yes. I feel like the list we were shown at 1:15:34 was not correct. Also for instance Vasco Vilaca started 2nd despite being the 5th on that start list.
