It's Kickboxing rules. It was judged like a MuayThai match. By Muaythai judging standards Superlek won...by KICKBOXING standards Fadi won. Hence the irritation at the outcome. Not a robbery though, just a questionable decision.

​@@robertsothmann8110 First, no matter if the round is judged by Muay Thai rules or kickboxing rules, one of the key components of scoring is to land a punch/kick/knee clean. In the first round, I didn't count how many landed strikes from each fighter but I think Fadi outscores superlek and has two really impressive big hooks. But in the second and third round, especially the third round, superlek's kicks almost land for every 10- 15 seconds. And most of them are pretty clean. Even though Fadi throws a lot of punches, most of them are not landed or landed on superlek's gloves. It's true that he is pushing forward and seems like doing a lot but doing a lot does not mean it is effective strikes. Also, the only thing that is questionable for me is the clinching. Superlek clinched a lot to avoid mid/close range punches but the judge did not give him warnings or point deduction. I am just really curious why all the people in the comment section are saying the decision is questionable instead of why the judge did not give superlek warning and even point deduction during the third round. And since there are no point deduction for clinching, it is a 29-28 for superlek.

Don't forget this is superlek first kickboxing fight. He needs time to learn the rules. If this was muaythai it would of been a lot easier for him. Respect to Fahdi he put up a good fight and it was close but I gave superlek the win.
