God, it looks so much better than man of steel in basically every way. The saturated, comic-colors, him going out of his way to help the most desperate of people, and in general Cavill's Superman felt self righteous? For some reason. I think Gunn is a much better writer in general in almost every way but especially when it comes to writing relatable characters. The dad sacrifice scene in MoS to this day is such a weird fucking scene, this looks so fun and exciting and in character I can't wait 😎

43 yr old Superman & snyder fan here. I'm not looking to destroy at all but i do have a couple of nitpicks. 1) hate the suit at the moment. Not the design per se just the use of materials. Too thick & baggy for me & there's fan art of the exact same design where the suit is a much tighter, lycra material & it looks so much better for it. 2) the use of John Williams theme. I'm a firm believer that every version should have their own theme. Using & updating Williams to me is trying too hard to emulate the past & it could be a set back. 3) Clark's hair. Sorry Shartimus but it looks so silly 🤦‍♂️ Regardless of my little nitpicks though I will unlike some Snyder fans, be there opening day with my 12 yr old son. For him it'll be to see his first theatrical Superman movie. Hope it lives up to the hype. P.s I when i first saw the Pattinson Batsuit, I really hated it. Then I got the Mcfarlane figure & really warmed to it. Not my favourite suit but certainly don't hate it now. Maybe be the same with this 🤷‍♂️

​@@devinbrewer8956i think they will use the williams theme. Reason being Gunn said before the composer was brought in board, they had the music mostly done. That can only be if they're using Williams theme again. That said the suit may grow on me. The deign itself is fine. I for one love to see the trunks returning (my preferred look) but the thickness & material of the suit is throwing me off just a little. Might be cos if I'm honest i really hated the new52 armored suit in the comics 🤷‍♂️

I love the updated John Williams Superman march. It hits the nostalgia hard. Its the only theme that comes to mind for Supes. I can only hope that we get a rendition of the Batman TAS theme for the Brave and the Bold movie. Its the theme that comes to mind for Batman.

The guy that Superman is fighting looks like he's wearing purple. The only Supe villains that come mind that wear purple are Mongol, Brainiac, and Parasite. Luthor wears purple accented suits as well.

I was actually shocked at how much I ❤❤❤the trailer, my eyes were tearing up! A great portrayal/vision of Superman, but not the disappointing/unappealing WB/MCU/baggy/Kryptonian corduroy suit. After 86 years, all of a sudden, muscles are intimidating to kids? So, Superman's suit being based on a wrestler's physic doesn't matter anymore? Is it more important that James Gunn gets to puts his own stink on it/ make something different/cause controversy and stir interest? For what? Bad publicity? Thank God, he didn't double down on his muscles don't matter vision and make Superman a fat/skinny or non-binary alien. 🤣

People saying they cried from this trailer need to grow up and get some balls. Like it's a trailer. People are so soft these days. There was nothing in here remotely emotional. People are just in that FORCE AWAKENS high where it's been so long for something to come from this franchise that anything at this point will do and they will love it even if it's mid. Not saying the trailer was bad, but everyone is blowing it up like if it was the best thing since slice bread. And where was the hope and optimism everyone is talking about? He didn't smile once in this trailer and everyone was saying that's what Cavill was missing. We just all need to calm down and stop with this simp praising and wait for the real trailer, as a teaser it was good. Not F'ing great like people are making it out to be Trailer was good, but people are overdoing it letting their desire for something, anything at this point from the character onscreen that they let that desire overshadow any actual thinking and analyzing. Just wait for an official trailer(full) to get a better idea so we all dont look 10yrs later and have the same regret as people did with the star wars disney trilogy where they finally realize after all the nostalgic hype that there was a lot to be desired here and they went all wrong about it

They've already tried losing the trunks in both the comics and the movies, and it didn't work either time. The red trunks are are vital for balancing the suit design.
