If you scratch the liquitex hard enough with your fingernail - before and after adding the permaseal - will the paint scrape off? I’m having trouble with this issue when I put liquitex on my resin statues.

Philip Burkart yes it’s an acrylic paint so it’s not very tough. If you’re going to be handling your models something like Mr Color GX lacquer paint will be good but you’ll need to take extra precautions due to toxicity.

Thank you, glad you like them! I actually just applied a coat of the PermaSeal to the hands and it's made them look a lot darker... perhaps the matt varnish actually returned the skin tone to its true colour! Ah I see what you mean, yeah the colour in the vid is a bit off.
