Zeta-Rho delivering foreshadowing. Whereas Jor-El dismissed Jordan's potential, and was proved dead wrong, Zeta recognized it and clearly decided that Jordan would make a better host body than the X-K powered pseudo-Kryptonians that the Eradicator was creating. The show didn't get into much technobabble, but my guess is that all that X-K was going to be needed to sustain the powers of the dead Kryptonians in Human bodies. But Jordan has all that potential naturally. What concerns me is that they didn't abduct Jonathan too so as to use him as a host for another member of the Defense Council.
