In this and other iterations, yes. And there were charm to it. And it does add to his character either way. But actually, Superman is and was long meant to be much more than mere mortals in every aspect. The legacy of Kal-El, the last son of Krypton, was that of a bright, unwavering light in a world of darkness and despair. He is essentially a metaphore for Jesus Christ. ☄️

But Clark all your life you couldn't do the great things any human can do. Like be able to kick a football normally up in the air in case it goes so high in space.
