not how to forge a blade, but metalworking is most surtainly an aspect he could have known how to do, even more so when you consider his heatvision before his powers were booted out. And metalworking can be used on a farm. Making horseshoes, small bolts, even tool fixing (be it a wheelbarrow, a bucket, or a rake) can be done with basic metalworking. Now, how he actually sharpened that shit without cracking, or much proper whetstones, that's the intresting part.

Clark Kent was and will always be around despite Superman being in the spotlight. As was mentioned by others, he grew up on a farm. Jonathan Kent more than likely taught him how to hunt, fish, and basic tool maintenance outside of farming. Turning a piece of steel into a sword was not in those lessons, but being resourceful was. Especially if he was with people that didn't know of his powers. Clark probably learned how to make a simple blade and expanded on that to make sword. Just because he didn't have his powers at this point didn't mean he was helpless.

@SparkeyAvalon2 жыл бұрын
@Will N Yeah. But my point (after refinement due to answers here) is that in the movies it's annoying. Because it's just a too big movie % of just this. Comics and series are fine. You get 1-2 episodes/chapters of this out of tens of them. But a 2h movie has about 1h of this....
@MatthewCobalt Жыл бұрын
It’s only really annoying when the entire movie wasn’t made to showcase that actual aspect. If it’s only a plot point in part of the movie, the recovery of their powers feels anti-climatic. It also doesn’t help that to be properly satisfying you need to get rid of the powers as soon as possible, which isn’t conducive to an enjoyable viewing.
