People saying flash could've stopped this by going back in time... Basically, flash is the most powerful superhero, at full potential. It's obvious. He is entirely out of the scale. But they have to tone him back for the sake of the story, the writers said that many times. So no, he can't solve the problem by going back in time and killing the villain before anything bad happens, because that will never be written. I really want to see a writer truly go nuts with The Flash's powers. He is so fast, if he ever realized his potential, he could literally be omnipresent, omnipotent.

I am well aware of their differences, I'm just saying that I would had assumed the same thing that Kara did, she said that Kal-El's death was probably "the best news you've ever heard" to Batman and he told Kara that he would miss him too, it revealed to me that Superman and Batman did not hate each other, in fact, they're kind of like brothers that love one another but they argue all the time, and as I said, I "used" to think they hated each other.

He never hated him. He had to fight Superman - The villian, but he will always stay friends with Clark Kent, the friend that he lost. Even in this story, you can tell, that deep down: Batman wishes that Clark is still deep inside Superman and that Superman will go back being good one day.
