Superman Escape is an Intamin Accelerator built at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It stands at a height of 40 metres, has 765 metres of track and hits a top speed of 100 km/h. This is my full technical review of one of Australia's best themed attractions.

I did Superman on its last day before going into maintenance in Feb and then again two weeks ago. It's running great. I can't really recall a rattle before the maintenance, but it was definitely running smooth after.

I love this ride, though like you said, I wish it had a longer outside layout. It should've used the space past Justice League and had a few more elements in it, maybe a loop, helix or inline twist. But apart from that, it's pretty much a perfect Intamin coaster.

as someone who’s went after super-man’s maintenance I can say for sure that the rattle was very unrecognisable, especially compared to the last time I went (which was 2019)

In the front row this ride is honestly quite smooth and the airtime i would argue the airtime ist stronger than rivals

I love this ride, there are so many good things about it. I would definitely put DC rivals above it but rivals is hard to beat. Overall great review. love your work, keep it up.

Ill be going there in about 4 weeks. Im very excited ride the more main stream coaster in Australia considering;ast time i went i was terrified of anything that wasn’t a kiddy coaster.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Werner Stengel designed Superman Escape. Totally agree prefer a hydraulic launch over LSM launches.

I believe you're correct, or at least his company was behind the design. So most likely he designed it, yes. Hydraulic launches seem to have way better kick! It's a shame they're so unreliable, I'd love more

i rode it for the first time after the maintenance and i didnt notice any rattle. granted, ive only ridden it once

I gotta get a re-ride on this thing. It's sadly low on my list. Not even top 5 in the country imo. Which seems wrong to me.

4.2 postive Gs and 1 negative G. I once rode this coaster back to back several times because of how much i loved it. Edit: I just wanted to mention that I realised the openings for the train to go through are shaped exactly like the testing braces coaster designers use. These braces are used to measure how much space should be available to make sure riders don't hit anything with their arms. The global rule is that 3 inches of space is extended over the average male adult arm reach measured to accommodate for margins of error.
