The colors look bright and vibrant because its real subjects shot on real film in natural light. Everything we see in films today today are shot digitally, with layer upon layer of CGI. It makes everything look dark and murky with a blue tint. I saw Godzilla vs Kong last week. Everything was so dark and blue, a lot of times I didn't even know what I was looking at.

Eu sou marvete de carteirinha, mas reconheço que quando se fala em super-heróis, o Superman é o primeiro, indiscutivelmente. Esse pessoal tem uma mina de ouro nas mãos e não sabe o que fazer. É só replicar o heroísmo dos filmes do Christopher Reeve e tá tudo certo, não precisa de mais nada além disso. Ainda não compreenderam que no imaginário da população é isso que o Superman representa. É o arquétipo do herói em toda a sua plenitude, é a visão romântica que temos de um herói. Sabe quando o Ultraman derrota um monstro, coloca as mãos na cintura como se dissesse "missão cumprida" e depois voa para os céus. É isso o Superman. Espero que resgatem essa verve do Superman no novo filme.

It is, he waan't even meant to score Superman originally but because Jerry Goldsmith was too busy that year he recommended Williams and the rest is history. Goldsmith and Richard Donner worked on The Omen just 2 years prior and when he was filming Superman his first choice was Jerry, it's interesting to speculate what he would have written.

@@eq1373 Actually, during discussions for *Superman II* , John Williams left the production due to disagreements with director Richard Lester; that's why Ken Thorne took his place -- but had Williams and director Richard Donner stayed on-board, the results would've been far superior (and thankfully, that would lead to *Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut* released in 2006, alongside the home media release of *Superman Returns* that November).

I love Cavil's Clark Kent/Superman and hope he comes back to The DCEU but Reeve is Clark Kent/Superman. This is one of the best scores not just in a comic book movie but of all time. This theme captures the hope, magic, and power of the Man Of Steel. Superman I And II are some of the best comic movies and are the gold standard for Superman Movies.
