What a pretty, well-kept downtown!!! I'm a history/trivia geek, so thank you for stopping at the plaques; I paused to read them. 17:50 - On the Built 1880s plaque, Charleston was mentioned; wonder if it was in South Carolina or West Virginia? The old green Suburban lady looked like Madam Mayor's sister/cousin. Florida and Arizona are full of transplants, many don't know how to drive. Had to find out more about the UMC church which started in a log cabin! Wonder if after the fire of 1884, buildings had to be built with bricks? Please come back at Christmas; sure it will be wonderful at night!

It's busy because of the lake and people coming from Nashville and other towns building on the lake, it's a nightmare..Used to be a quiet place to live

That was another fun adventure. We have some buildings like those in Oklahoma City Guthrie Oklahoma has a lot of old buildings . That was the original capital of Oklahoma untill someone stole the seal from Guthrie and bought it to Oklahoma City. Were our state capitol is now .I think Guthrie would be a better Capital City .

I love small towns. There is so many times I wish I could move outside of Nashville into a small town. It would be so much peaceful and quiet without. any hustle and bustle. God bless both of you. You are so lucky that you. have the opportunity to move forward.

@@MadamMayorsAdventures I wish I could Move to Shelbyville, TN my. son recently bought a new home there. and I started looking around and the only bad thing is I am a heart patient and there's no major hospitals there. So, if something was to happen, I would have to be the life flight to Nashville to St Thomas Hospital which is where I go. But it is so quiet and peaceful there. Both of my remaining children have. moved out into the country area. Nashville has gotten way too big too. many people. and that brings more crime. It's sad because this has always been my home, born and raised. but I feel like us real, true Nashvillian's are being pushed out.

I know it is hard to goggle info when you are using your cell to do the vlog. So I did a search and came up with this: Our present Victorian worship building with Gothic elements was constructed in 1893 under the leadership of Rev. J.M. Jordan with a building committee composed of T.A. Embrey, W.H. Carmack, and Dick Taylor. A two-story education building was added in 1950 and a free-standing bell tower erected in 1981 to hold the church bell housed in the original tall, pointed spire that had succumbed to a 1910 lightening bolt. A replacement spire was installed on the church in 1985 and carillons were added to the belfry under the spire in 1986. Additional property immediately surrounding the church was purchased in 1973, 1989, 1990, and 2010. Just to add a bit of history to your tour. It is VERY interesting as all of the other vlogs.

Hey - those two weeds in their shed are announcing today that Crook's charges were all dropped and he does not face any charges - do you know anything about that or could you find out? If this is true then it will embolden the neighbours to just be crazier and those two very nasty girls to dig even deeper. I am praying that this is not so and in fact he will face a judge for what he did! I am so tired of people going on about how those two continue to say you are no longer a mayor and should change your channel name! As far as I am concerned - love the channel name and following you two! It is always good to hear from you two and continue to pray for you both! Nice to see another part of the country I likely will never see!
