I was watching Superman & Lois during the time I had completely lost my faith in the character and the show turned me into a hardcore fan. What the show succeeds to show is that he may be the most powerful being in the world, but his problems make him no different than us, like balancing his life, like he is raising his kids, saving the world and knowing Lois is suffering from a terminal disease that he isn't powerful enough to save her from, but still he continues to be optimistic and be a symbol of Hope for his people. With all my respect to Reeves, Cain, Welling, Routh and Cavill, in my honest opinion, the greatest portrayal of Superman is done by Tyler Hoechlin.

Just WRONG. A misconception, a misunderstanding about realism and maturity. Today, 'liking the true heroes or the less-flawed (not much nuanced) or less/non-brutal characters' is considered childish. Today, people love watching Omni-Man or Sentry or Injustice Superman more than watching THE Superman. That's why, even though *people may NOT WANT Superman today, but they NEED Superman.* Okay, so, why is that? What can Superman do? What DOES Superman do? *"Superman Inspires."* - There's not much other than this you need to describe the greatest fictional character of all time. Btw, can a perfect or near-perfect being like Superman have an inner struggle? Yes, he does have. You know what is the inner struggle of Superman?
