Bizarro Kal was changing because of the drug dependency. Anderson isn't kryptonian so perhaps why didn't mess up his skin so much.

Biz Kal-EL has been taking KX for years to boost his strength. On Htrae (Square Earth) Kal is weaker than Tal cause Kal came to Htrae second so he had to catch up in strength to Tal but Kal didn't train he took KX instead.

It's the kryptonite that is damaging Bizarro Superman. Sure, Anderson is also taking a lot of it, but he's not at the same point as him. Since Loïs mentionned it in a flashback, it means that he had been taking it for a really long time. :PSure, it's exagerated in this show, but It's like most drugs in real life. It make you feel good, confident and stronger, but at the same time, it's destroying you little by little from the inside. Plus, we allready saw some of the effect of the X-Kryptonite on Anderson while he was talking to Superman. He had the same tics as Bizarro Superman during Bizarro Tal-Ro's flashback.

This show is so good. Less than an hour and it packed a lot into it. At the end Anderson had a good redemption. I so love this show.

Anderson isn't kryptonian. I imagine the deterioration is a result of his kryptonite abuse with a kryptonian physiology.

I LOVED this episode. And wow, Tyler got to display a lot of range in this episode. :) Also still loving Bizarro Lois' Margot Kidder bangs. And aww at happy uncle Tal-Rho. And even had me liking OUR Anderson. Especially when he started crying after Bizarro Jordan was asking what happened to Bizarro Kal :O And rawr, Lana, barmaid, gothy wedding dress... I like. :) This is my fave show. Yeah, the delays suck but in my opinion always been worth the wait.

I'm glad we saw Anderson realize his mistakes. Watching him breakdown after finding out the Kal he killed had a family that was still looking for him and putting everything together ess very emotional

From this it looks like Bizarro world never had a Clark, he was known as Kal-El and Superman. Whatever his back story is the Kents didn't seem to exist as he mentioned to Tal Rho in the conversation in the bar about being drawn to the farm and then buying it. They seem to be going with his addiction to the Kryptonite that caused the damage to him, we don't know how long Kal El was inhaling Kryptonite and also he's a Kryptonian so may have a different effect than on human dna (It was mentioned by Lane that Ally had humans on Kryptonite guarding the DOD). Loved this episode and the actors were great. Seeing such an arrogant, unhinged Superman was jarring. Jon El has already killed 2 people (well 2 versions of the same person), that's a lot for a 15 yr old . I really want to see a few characters merging, just to switch some characters up a bit, see what they become and change the dynamics. Lana would be an interesting one as her life is so different on both earths and would also bring the Cushings into the main story. Curious to know exactly how the merge works, does one personality\life experience become more dominant or is it the one who's holding the pendant at the time of the merge just absorbing the life force of the other. So many questions. Can't wait to see how the story progresses.

Wouldn't Biz Kal-EL be a Nainotpryk from the planet Notpryk? XK weakens Bizzaro which means his home planet Notpryk is made from XK and has a yellow sun like Earth.

Fun Fact: that hand symbol bizzaro Jon does was created by Alex ( Jordan). Also I find it interesting that Clark was smart enough to speak backwards but bizzaro wasn’t.

I think the reason Jordan had so little to do in this ep is so the focus could be on Jonathan/Superboy... and that suggests to me that on our regular Earth, Jordan will be getting a lot of focus for that... as a trade off

Jordan is the one with power. So he is the one who can stop Bizarro Jonathan. Since there is a delay between two people reaching the other earth.

This ep was soooooo bizarrrrreeeeeeeeeeeee... in good and less good ways, but still very very entertaining... and weird! I don't want a full show of this but that was a great distraction I really appreciate the show made an ep THIS FUCKING DENSE and respected the audience to connect the dots... to think for ourselves They don't fully explain what is going on with Bizarro Superman's tranformation or Lana getting powers... we know enough to figure... it's Kryptonite usage, especially over time... Superman was clearly using it LONGER and more intense doses over time than Anderson who only has been using it for 2 or 3 eps which is like 3 days or something compared to years of using like Bizarro Superman has Loved the President Seinfeld reference earlier in the episode

So if Bizzaro’s Superman powers is the direct opposite of Superman’s does that mean that Jon and Jordan powers are the direct opposite of themselves? If that’s true. Jordan has powers in Bizzaro’s world, he just hasn’t gotten them yet and Jon has powers on earth-1, but, he just hasn’t gotten them yet. Does that mean that by seeing Bizzaro Jon’s powers, we get a glimpse of Earth-1 Jonathan’s powers?

Its been a long time since I have checked out S&L reactions. Despite its quality, its a show I generally dont check out reactions to. But this is 1 I was eager to see everyones reactions on. Such a well done episode. My only nitpick of the episode really is, I wanted more details. I would have prefered it spread out over a 3 or 4 episode arc. But I get why they did it with such a condensed season> Just kinda disappointed.

I really liked the episode I only wished something more would have happened at the end there because he had basically the same ending scenes in the last two episodes ... Maybe spoilers so I don't know if you wanna read it but on a panel that ,Tyler and Bistie + the show runner I think, were at they said: . . . . . . . . . . that Clark was only gone for ep 9 and will be back afterwards so I guess he made it through and will hopefully come to the rescue
