This Lex is quite different from the others. He wasn’t refined or even that cerebral. The guy literally went for a fistfight with Clark. He is not even a scientist or a tech expert, thats what Milton is there for. He’s hardly a good businessman cause Amanda and his other guys took care of Lexcorp. Sure, he made it but the only thing he’s defined by is his hatred for Superman. Like the classic movie one. But, by god, he is one of the best versions of Luthor.

It's more than that, this is the end of a journey that started all the way back in Smallville. I am sad they didn't get to do the full series that they wanted, with them introducing Godfrey. Clearly they were doing set up that likely would have taken a few seasons for Apokolips and Darkseid to be their final big bad. But in a way this is a very fitting ending. It all started with Clark and Lex. Now they get to bookend it as well.

So many of the CW superhero shows started out with so much promise only to disappoint in the end but not this one from beginning to now it's end they treated the entire story of Superman with respect and detail that one of the greatest heroes of generations deserves. I hate to see it go and I will miss you guys reactions. Loved every minute of it

I will miss Superman and Lois when it finishes, but I'll be incredibly grateful to have experienced the Superfamily. This whole series has been fantastic, with standout characterisation.I've lost count of the amount of times Lois has had me in tears, and Clark has brought the smiles with his nerdiness. Even though it was a quick flash ( no pun intended ) the look of immense pride and joy on Clarks face when the boys are jumping towards him in the stadium training, shows the producers know what THIS Clark is all about. And i loved the Jordan scene. Calming down Miss Mays and working her through her panic attack with his own personal experience. Lovely touch.

It’s all been handled so beautifully everyone involved has proved they love this series they have been involved in. I can’t remember seeing any other programme that I felt was so loved by writers, cast, crew, score writers etc. I love some of the background music because the composers tip their hats to other Superman themes building up in the background etc, like the Wedding March starting in the background when Sam offered his arm to Lois. I would love to go back through the series finding all the nods. Nothing in this series is less than perfect. The acting is beyond compare, and Tyler Hoechlin is my favourite Superman of all time and I never thought I would say that. Not ready for this to be over. Thanks guys I have enjoyed your videos ❤❤

i love the character development in this season for Jordan. To see how far he's come and it's really nice to see him give caution to Jon at times. Or the story letting us know that he has better control over his powers than Jon even though Jon picked them all up rather quickly. Even previously seeing how Jordan took Jon's side and reminded Clark about what happened when it was lying to Sarah or Jordan telling Candice the truth. i'm not saying Jordan hasn't been a good brother to Jon in the past, but this season it's felt some much after the screw up (seems it was much needed) that he's been the voice or reason/guidance for Jon and i'm happy. Also seeing him help a civilian who was going through a panic attack, i loved that alot. In one season, less than 15 episodes and Jordan has grown ALOT

Not impossible, but not likely in my opinion. I think the writers were really hammering in the fact that general Lanes sacrifice to bring Clark back was important, and getting his regular heart back might make sense outside of The narrative of this being the last episode of the last season.

I think Clark is going to retire after they find a way to defeat Doomsday/Lex Luthor. Whether it's directly after the battle or after his powers completely fade from natural aging, and he'll live out the rest of his days with Lois as the boys/Natalie take over the superhero mantels.

Wow. Several things to comment on. As jaydakang pointed out below, Both Jor-El & Laura have been wrong about the boys before, so who knows? It reminded me of something that's kinda been overlooked until now (and may not be brought up again, but who knows?). That is, Jordan didn't manifest his powers until he touched Kal's ship, and the same is true for Jonathan. But that was never addressed again. Obviously *something* was going on with the ship and that crystal. Guys, in the comics and in the animated series (it showed up in a few episodes of Superfriends & Superpowers team) the opposite of Green kryptonite is Blue Kryptonite, and it does specifically have the same effect on Bizzaro Superman as the Green variety does on Clark. But we didn't see it in this series (nor have we seen Gold-K, as someone mentioned below). In the Smallville series, we saw Gold-K one time as I recall, at the very end when a possessed Oliver Queen almost uses a ring made of it to remove Clark's powers, but is talked out of it by Clark.

What did Lex do when he said he had to kill him one more time? Did he introduce a weakness so, as you say, Lex can then be the savior? I'm not sure but I think he did something that took his memory. Lois sees that he no longer recognizes her. I also wasn't clear on what they were talking about with the DOD Doomsday project. Does John know something? Did Doomsday go to the DOD before he went to the mines? As I said, I think I missed that entirely.

The writers/producers talked about the Jamie Kennedy thing and it came from some encounter with him and they put it into the show because they thought the idea that they'd be excited about Jamie Kennedy would be funny or something like that.
