I have to give flowers to who I believe, is the BEST adaptation of Lois Lane in Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch. I remember when the show was announced, many questioned if the show could work. But with her top billing, her performance is truly incredible. Her ability to pull tears from me consistently is boundless. The season is gonna hurt me lol

Yeah, I already liked Bitsie as Lois from pre-Crisis in Supergirl and such but this incarnation of her as the wife of Clark and mother of Jordan and Jonathan gave her a whole new depth and she has performed everything required of her beautifully. :)

At the end of the previous season we did see the change that she was talking about -- her hair was lighter on one side. But the biggest difference between seasons for her is that I think she just looks a bit older.

My all time favourite comic run is “World without a Superman” and I never thought I would see the day when we would get a live adaptation (of sorts). I’m really going to miss this show, after Reeve, Tyler is my next favourite Superman/ Clark Kent.

If it helps, Agustin, it's not just hardcore Superman fans who appreciate this. I'm a Bat-fan, not really into much of the rest of DC, just never really clicked with Supes because I didn't quite see the point. This show though - man, I get it now. Superman is awesome. Even my housemate, a lifelong Marvel fan with no investment in Superman, thinks this does a great job of showing why he's such an amazing hero. It's a real shame that it's ending, but I'm thankful it exists.

Lois is going to need serious therapy after having to make a literal Sophie's Choice. Even though both of her sons lived, having to make that decision is heartbreaking.

Clark is gone at the same time as Superman, Jordan is jeopardizing the secret, and Luthor knows the secret. With all of that, I can't think that it's wise for Lois to put herself further in the spotlight by publishing an exclusive article about the death of the world's most famous person. In doing that, she'd be making herself a headline. Everyone that's close to her could be in greater danger with the level of scrutiny that brings.

Go back to season 3 finale and they say at the start that it had been 33 or so days since Luther had been let out of jail then. During that time he had found Bizarro and then killed him over over over again.

It's ending in part due to the change of ownership at CW, but I think also because of the new DC Universe. I don't think it'll be up to a bid with this one, sadly.

Green kryptonite can cause cancer in humans with enough exposure over time so I wonder if Jordan is worse off than his dad, like it could be one of the give and take of him being half human, the effects of green kryptonite don't hit him as intensely as it does Superman but in exchange he is more likely to get cancer with enough exposure to it.

thanks to you guys reactions to the finale of Season 3, it reminded me of why JHI was not in the premiere of this season… totally forgot about him moving to Metropolis … tho I have to admit, if Tyler is not present as Superman, I don’t know how much I’m going to enjoy the show. Haha, I just saw Hector mentioning this as I was typing this comment: they did this on another DC show and it's a pet peeve of mine... the second part of 'LutherCorp' should not be pronounced like the 'Marine Corps' -- it's a _corporation,_ not a _Corps,_ and so it should be pronounced with a hard 'P', not like 'core'. Not sure why they let that slip, but it bothers me to no end, lol.

Jonathan is going to get powers or better yet Jordan is going to give him his via his Kryptonian grandmother. My theory is that they have been planting the seeds for a minute. His being brave enough to want to be a fire fighter 🧑‍🚒 without powers. To Jordan mentioning that his heart is always steady, and Jonathan tells him he tries to never give into fear.

That’s how you raise the stakes, loved the premiere, that episode was a 10 I doubt that was Superman’s heart, Lex has such an ego, I highly doubt he’s give up his trophy so easily.

You know what would be cool? If somehow Jordan travels to the universe that has the others shows connected and all the main heroes give him a pep talk and teach him how to be a proper super hero

Solid start to the season. Loving the writing for Luthor, just ruthless. I hope they don't turn it into something sentimental. I somewhat don't want Superman to comeback because his absence is more exciting to watch. I know he will be back and pretty much it's gonna be happy ending but I hope they suprize us. Found lois a bit annoying, there is a thin line between being bold and stupid and cw already ruined iris west by crossing that line and never coming back. I want to see lois breakdown, let Luthor get to her, I want to see her vulnerable but she still believing in hope that Superman left behind. Also she needs to have an arc of letting her sons grow up, she can't always protect them. When a parent passes away the kids grow up doesn't matter the age and here they are literally 16+ and one got superpowers. It's time to move on from them being just kids. Lois did make a mistake and caused a man 17 yrs of his life, I hope we see some consequences for that like she owns upto it. Coming episodes hope they show world going crazy without Superman and Jordan has to fill in and find out what it means to be a hero, I feel there is not much time to explore all of it but just few scenes should work. I hope that heart thing is done, it's so tachy sci fi thing. This show has been so good (not s2) I just hope they dont do anything cheap which brings down the legacy of the series
