I could be wrong but I believe the creators said the original plan was for 7 seasons but atleast they were allowed to have a final season and not be outright cancelled

The creators said they had no idea if it was being continued or not. They had hoped that they were going to get the chances to finish it. All regulars who were downgraded were willing to take pay cuts just to finish it in a way that made sense and go out with a bang.

This was such a great finale, really set up season 4 in an awesome way, it’s weird how this show did so many of the same beats as the DCEU but Superman & Lois does them all soooooo much better.

Is Superman & Lois perfect? No. Drags sometimes and has a bit of melodrama at points. But it does alot of the DCEU beats so much better, better characters, better Superman, great cgi. It's gonna be a well remembered gem

Overall, for the most part, the best Superman stories were told on television, imo. Superman & Lois, Smallville, Lois & Clark -- all had some great moments.

@@BeJaminYeh serious question…are you a parent? As a parent, I think those moments you think drags, are the moments that hit hard with balancing life and responsibilities endured as parents. This show is personally a 10. And Tyler, has become my number 2 superman after Reeve.

I just think the melodrama at times drags the show at points. It's not even speciically the parental stuff. One of my fav scenes is angry dad clark at the diner.

That's a great, novel point I'm suprised never hit me. Superman is a lot better and more consistent on television because there's more time to flesh out his character in his relationships beyond his inspiring powers, while his movie appearances are very hit-or-miss.

Can't believe us here in the UK have got to wait GOD knows how long for season 4 to release here. It took long enough for season 3 to release in the UK. And after that finale all i and my dad want is to find out what is gonna happen in the fourth and final season. God damn. Time to try and avoid spoilers since its now releasing in the US.

Woooo yeah, this was a good season! Much love to the writing team. I totally agree with Adam in that TV adaptations have been overall better for the most part vs the wild inconsistency of the films. Oh, and i don't think that saying this show earned Doomsday is a hot take either. Fun ride, I'm a little behind but stoked for Season 4, even with the budget cuts.

My favorite part of season 3:is definitely a tie between Lex Luthor walking down to and confronting Lois and Clark at the Kent farm and the introduction of The Best Live Action version of Doomsday!! Such an amazing season!! Best season so far and after watching the first two episodes of season 4 it looks like that season 4 may be even better!! It all depends on how they end It! I hope James Gunn is taking notes! Because THIS is how you do Superman!! It's so sad that they're not going do more seasons after 4! And depending how they end the series this show may actually top Smallville as my all time favorite live action Superman show!!

When it comes to Lex Luthor being involved with the creation of Doomsday, this show did it way better than Batman v Superman. This Lex Luthor was ruthless and brutal, and you really feel the hatred he has for Lois and Superman, so the motivation is more personal and believable. Michael Cudlitz is doing a great job, and what a great choice for Lex, someone who I never thought would make a great Lex Luthor, but he's fantastic.

Superman could kill Lex anytime he felt like it. Supeman Deviant was created to trick Luther while he figure how to kill this monster before he comes back. He has made a deviant in other movies and copy of himself whenever he need 2 of himself to trick people to think there is Clark and their is Supeman and he wears those glasses he created to make himself not recognizable. They are finally going to write superman intelligence in the Show.

The reason Why I dont watch Superman & Lois is because the main character Superman dosent feel like superman to me at all, Physique, character wise just everything about him made me not to be interested in the series. the old Superman series of clark kent that I watched many many years back was the best.
