I've loved all the James Gunn stuff I've watched. Can't wait to see Slither. Super was great. He also wrote the Zack Snyder directed film, Dawn of the Dead.

Yes, shows used to pump out episodes but they were on network tv. Shows today basically have movie level quality and budgets. But it would still be nice if the seasons can come out like a year and a half in between each other.

For me, Avatar and Brave New World, Final Reconking, How to Train Your Dragon, and Zootopia 2 are more anticipated for me. But Superman is #6. Which is crazy for me to say, but it makes me excited for all the awesome movies coming out! I also dont know when Deliver Me from Nowhere comes out, but that would be in my top 5 if it was this year.

Saw "Better Man" (Robbie Williams Ape) as the Mystery Movie last night - and thought it was great. Had zero interest in seeing it because of the Ape thing... didn't matter. It was excellent. My husband and I really enjoyed it and I even caught him crying (thru my own tears).

DCEU universe simply died with Justice League. Probably due to the tragedy for Zach and him not finishing the theatrical release. His version was solid IMO. Unfortunately I think they needed the 4 hours and 2 days it took for me to watch it to truly flesh out Cyborg, Batman and the Amazons the return of Superman and Lex. The parts were like a mini series

I just binged all 3 seasons over the weekend. I knew about it since season 1. I just made a decision years ago to wait until I could binge. So heres the thing. I loved it. Truly. I was hooked through all 3 seasons. But at the same time. It's so ridiculous and absurd. But yet I love it. Now I'm watching countless videos diving into theories and fully in it. And I love it. Thankfully it seems the creators know the ending and they aren't just throwing things against the wall. So, I have faith in whatever happens next. Point is. I'm watching. I love it. Ready for season 4.

It's funny though.. I don't hear anyone irl talking about Superman though. I've seen on various Superman groups people that love it have kept watching it. Now I'm sure there are "groups" of people that trying to find things to attack it. When I first saw the suits I was instantly put on the fence and critical of it. And then hearing that All Star Superman was going to be one of the "must reads" going into this...All Star is the most over hyped comic and I am not really a fan of it. Then all the Christopher Reeve comparisons.. and look.. I know for many in my generation and beyond (I'm 50) Reeve is their Superman.. and sure he was mine too when I was younger, BUT I don't think the 78 movie held up. It is way too campy. Reeve's Clark Kent.. I HATED it then and I hate it now. It is NOT comic accurate. Reeve created that and based it off a Cary Grant movie.. this is easily researched. The number of people that argue with me about that is crazy. And then hearing that Superman 2025 would be very Silver Age... ugh.. Silver Age of comics is where it went WAY too silly and made the comics "safe for children" and we got a bunch of goofy crap. Now you get people saying "comics are for kids"... um.. we just spent the past 25 years making comic book movies that were for adults. Then the trailer.. I HATED this trailer. It was nothing new.. the cartoon Krypto was horrible. People saying "it brings hope" HOW??? This trailer didn't scream "hope" at all. I mean, this isn't me pushing back against it, I just haven't seen anything of note. I think the suits still look like crap.. like honestly the worst Superman suit I have ever seen. Hawkgirl.. CW did it better and Guy Gardner.. um.. ugh. The PR stuff.. yeah they are doing great. I noticed a lot of other channels that are so hopeful for htis and loving everything about it... strange how they all got to spend time with Gunn and the cast. That is important. It is hard to be critical of someone you were just friendly with and think is a fun and cool and what not. I am a huge fan of Gunn's work, but all his stuff has a feel to it. Like you know.. oh this Gunn.. but I just don't know that I want that for Superman. For me, Fantastic Four is my most anticipated.
