Fun fact. Homelander has a weakness that isn't "be stronger than him" Lasers are high intensity, high frequency, focused lights. They are distinctly not heat. This means his eye structure is basically millions of prisms and mirrors. But this also means that they actually don't receive any of the heat since a laser heats up at impact point, not the focus point. In essence, this means that heat immunity is not necessary to having laser eyes, which means homelander could be killed... drumroll.... By putting him in a microwave.

@@davidbritton5282 I know they don't. They do, however, generate heat -- which is something Homelander's powers don't automatically make him immune to. Even if Homelander is just built different, the show has shown that they try to keep some measure of scientific accuracy to their theorization of supes (like how translucent is covered in carbon, making him an incredible conductor). Regardless how homelander is built, he can still be boiled. The lasers thing was just to point out that him having laser eyes does not mean he's immune to heat.

Not only is this great animation and choreographed wonderfully but you kept both Superman and Homelander perfectly in character. Especially at the end. Homelander is way too weak for Superman to deem killing him necessary. He would spare him and then figure out how to extract Compound V from his system leaving Homelander completely powerless and normal which would honestly be a fate worse than death for Homelander. Also loved the beginning exchange. Homelander: Kal-El.... I'm here to kill you! Superman:......... Ok bye.
