In lore I'm pretty sure he would. After the biomodding Tomora was *_nearly_* killed after S&S bitch slapped him with inflation-funded hypersonic nuclear missiles. If we assume that biomodded Tomora would be on roughly the same endurance level as All Might, then that'd mean that nuclear warheads would be near-fatal. (One may be survivable, but getting hit with several all at once would be death.) IIRC Homelander is said to be able to survive nukes as well, so that'd put them on roughly the same levels of endurance. All Might of course would be far stronger and faster, but the laser eyes & super senses could make up for that difference.

​@@felixjohnson3874the nuke durability statement is taken out of context, in the original comics where Homelander exhibits much more strength (casually throwing a fighter jet vs barely cracking a wall by punching soldier boy on it) the one who mentions that Homelander can survive a nuke is trying to market Vought as a result they embellish. Evidence of this can be found later in the comics when The CEO of Vought mentions far away from investors to his protege (fall gal that takes the blame for everything when Vought goes under) that dropping a nuke on Herogasm (an event frequented by Homelander and other supes) would definitely kill all the people there. If you want to back this up with a source check out the Herogasm comics of the Boys comic run.

Homelander just can't compare to anyone who shares his powerset. Also, not sure how far you are in regards to Invincible, but Mark could absolutely take Homelander at like, half a year after his powers manifested, and that's charitable. The durability and strength levels of a Viltrumite are beyond Homelander's wildest dreams. Of course, John serves his role in his home universe as an unstoppable threat, but if discussing his potential against other Superbeings, he's laughably weak in pretty much every regard.

The top heroes of this world got to where they are by fighting many who were just as strong, if not stronger than they are. Well clearly you haven’t watched the show, or you forgot, back when he came to the students aids at that training dome or whatever, he wasn’t smiling, because he was genuinely pissed off around this time. And nobody had even died around this time besides some big injuries. Now here, hundreds of people were dying to a single man who didn’t seem to show any regret or remorse for his actions. I’d say it’s very in character for him to not be smiling here.
