Imagine this game came out but instead of the Suicide Squad it’s Arkham Batman taking down the entire Justice League with Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin. With the same assistance from Wonder Woman to netrulize Superman. NGL My biggest complaint about this series is it's editing. Not the memes and sound effects, those are great. But bro you'll cut out important plot points of the story, keep only like ⅓ of the gameplay.... But keep all the spoilers😂 like you cut out 20+ minutes of gameplay between part 1 and 2. The complaints about the story are fine because that's your opinion and you're not trying to make it seem like an objective fact shitting on anyone who disagree with you. I just PERSONALLY like what they did with the story. Them choosing Wonder woman makes the most sense because between either her and flash, they're the only members of the league who can fight everyone on even ground without making them look weaker. Imagine Batman is in the "contengency plan" role for the thousanth time all over again telling the same story all over again. All the times lantern, flash, and Superman took off to fight wonder woman and she survived but sustained wear and tear as time went by..... How would we realistically expect Batman to survive that? He can't even use the prep time excuse because unless he has all the gear on him to begin with, why not just beat the JL then and there. Tldr: wonder woman was the perfect catalyst to bridge the league and squad together

Joel was deliberately made to be questionable, where even though he was the protagonist, some players would have a problem with his decision at the end of the game, and massacring a large amount of fireflies in the process. He is not a hero, he is a man, a man that lost what mattered, and then found something that mattered. We also only had one game with joel, and 3 (technically 4) with arkhams’ batman. The Last of Us is supposed to be grounded in the realms of reality, whereas this is literally a superhero game. Hardly comparable, honorable or at least satisfactory endings to the stories of these characters would have been widely preferable
