@@firewaffle222 I've gotten a few clips in, here's my strategy First, you unsubscribe from Animeilluminati; you need to keep track of which day of the week you do it because you add 14 to the number of the day of the week, get the digital root (subtracting where necessary) and that's how many hours you need to wait before resubbing to Animeilluminati so you can send Jiyuna the clip. If your clip gets accepted then you'll get the date of when the next WIK will be.

In case anyone's unfamiliar with GBVS and wants some info on why the Seox super possibly didn't kill at 8:45: The combo started from 214H - which is a multi-hit +3 on block special, multi-hits scaling combos harder in this game - but Chunko then continued with an auto-combo which scales the combo heavily, into an SBA (Skybound Art), which are the game's level 1 supers. I haven't labbed with Seox in a while, though, so take my comment on 214H with a grain of salt.

This is part of it since he did a combo long enough to hit max scaling, but the real reason he didn't kill is that he did easy input super. Supers in Granblue have different minimum damage depending on if you do technical input or easy inputs, with technical input doing more. Technical input would have killed, but he did easy input instead so he dropped around 300-400 damage from the combo.

@@Neokarsh Yes, but also no. Seox is one of the supers that don't change in damage when it's easy input. Instead, the tradeoff is that the cinematic triggers from a shorter range.

@@OurJynx While you are correct about the super's properties being like that, that applies to doing the super raw, or early in the combo. However, if your combo is already at max damage scaling and you do a super the easy input version will do less damage than the technical input.

As most people probably noticed, "Million Arthur: Arcana Blood" has some interesting choices for guest characters. SNK and Square Enix made some kinda deal at some point and basically exchanged characters for a single release each. "MAAB" got Iori and "SNK Heroines" got Thief Arthur. Besides Iori, there's also Riesz from "Trials of Mana" and Koume from "Lords of Vermillion IV". Hawkeye, from "Trials of Mana" again, and Akira Oono from "Hi Score Girl" are both in as well but only as selectable assists. Kind of a strange grab-bag of guest characters for a rather niche fighter. But yeah, "MAAB" is pretty fun. It's essentially the spiritual successor to "Nitroplus Blasterz", same devs and it carries over many similar mechanics. Though it does have it's own very unique mechanic in the element system. There's too much to it but to describe it simply, every character and assist have their own element and RPS chaining elemental strikes increases hit-stun while chaining the same element offers an increasing damage-multiplier, as well as elements having their own general effects. Kind of nutty stuff. Also, the game has a ridiculous amount of guts. That's why the two WIK clips have the characters at 1/3-ish health, since damage really does get nerfed massively at that point. Matches ending in time-outs are not that uncommon, even with the fact there are multiple ways to freeze the clock. It's definitely a 3-4 touch fighter at best.

Hey, I'm the guy in the clip, I just checked the set I was using at the time and it doesn't actually have a single point towards stun resistance, what's actually happening is that I think moves that set you up for a follow up combo like the ones that fly you up in the air, or the handslam that knocks you down, cannot stun you as they already serve as setup for another hit. I have not tested this, but I also have no recollection of ever being stunned by that handslam or the air projectiles.

"Every time I lose to grappler I was winning" Yeah grappler is losing by default at round start because he has some god awful neutral presence. A character where theres some rounds you never even get a hit in. Let him touch you though and whew baby you are now losing. Its like an extreme version of R. Mika. Most grappler players say he sucks, myself included, but its only because he's about as consistent as a broken clock. I knew BrianF would play him though, because his literal achetype for FGs is robbery characters. Just look at his SF5 line up. Boxer, G, and Oro? Grappler is king robber. Some matches though you run into players who never take big risks and then you feel god damn helpless.

u can as long as u have at least 1 hp white. Anyway there's a slightly different route that uses conversion a sooner that i think does a bit more dmg than the one that ended in the clip and should've let him use conversion. this is why conversion is useless for grappler combos most of the times. The point of conversion is so late that it recovers before u get there :'(
