Half of what makes Team Fortress 2 iconic to this day is the number of lasting memes that have been created from voicelines of the playable characters. In regards to the last bit you talked about, I had a similar problem. I was in a science class, they had us do a group assignment, I was told to do basically all the work, I informed the teacher and requested to do my assignment solo. When the day to turn in the assignment came, I handed mine in, the teacher asked the group I was supposed to be with for theirs, and they had nothing. The groups were stuck together all year but me and two others all wanted to separate from ours. We said we'd rather do ours solo and the teacher stuck us together. Three people who work hard enough pull all the weights individually, working together instead was wonderful.
