It’s clear to me Harden never quite got over that hamstring issue this season, you don’t just suddenly get worse at everything at 32, he missed a bunch of games throughout the year, Philly sat him 3 weeks after trading for him, there were many games where he clearly didn’t feel comfortable driving the ball inside. Right now it’s not just physical, it’s also a mental thing because he has pulled it so many times lately and doesn’t trust his own body. Now he gets a full offseason to work on his body and I expect him to come back a lot closer to what he has always been, I agree with Bev, any team not willing to give Harden the max are idiots. Any other player in this situation would be getting the injury excuse but it’s Harden so of course everyone hopes he has declined but sorry to say it’s not the case. He will be back next year and he will look amazing and everyone will feel stupid for trying to make his decline a real thing.
