Okay so I read the Wikipedia plot synopsis for "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator," and I tell ya, shit IMMEDIATELY goes off the rails. It picks up right where the first story left off, in the glass elevator, and takes Wonka, Charlie, and his family *TO A GODDAMN SPACE HOTEL WITH CARNIVOROUS SHAPESHIFTING ALIENS AND THE FUCKING PRESIDENT GETS INVOLVED!* These aliens devour *24 people* in their pursuit of Wonka, and he kills them by *BURNING THEM UP UPON REENTERING EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE!* There's a(n unnecessary) chunk of the story where Wonka gives the old people some revitalization juice or whatever, but they take too much and regress back to infants, except one of them who VANISHES (she aged to "minus two"), so Wonka and Charlie go to some limbo ass dimension to get her back, age her up to *358* and then back to 78. Then the president (remember him?) invites Wonka, Charlie, and his family to be guests of honor at a dinner at the White House. What. The. *FUCK?!*

I went to a church that had a gym when I was in third or fourth grade, and these kids found this equipment that looked like hockey gear, but made out of this stuff they use on play mats. Then some other kid found plastic rods with cylinders of the play mat stuff attached. All the kids started to attack each other, and I swear I was scared for my life. Those kids were about three feet taller than I was, and they just had this gear and thingies they were beating other kids with. Looking back at it, it was hilarious, especially when I remembered that one of the kids got yelled at by his parents.

Matt, favorite moment with my dad is a tie between 2 moments: 1) Went to a Baseball game recently, 24 by the way, last time we went to a Baseball game together was when I was 6, had fun and bonded, real nice day... 2) My dad decided to play a game with me since he knows I love playing fighting games, he decided to try it... he legit beat me by button mashing and laughs and rubs it in my face... during the moment I was a little upset, but looking back makes me laugh, he still refuses to give me a rematch to this day...

My favorite memory with my Dad is less of a specific moment and more of an experience. My Dad's been a truck driver since I was in 8th Grade, and for the summer I went on the road with him. I had been for a couple other summers as well. It was wonderful. The sights, the rest stops, the showers at Loves. I can't imagine the inner strength the man had to have to endure me DJ'ing 90% of the time. It wasn't always perfect by any means. Being on the truck we often ate out, like almost every day. I would gain an insane amount of weight and lose it during the school year and repeat. I have a couple stories of weird Rest Stops and grimy showers as well. But I wouldn't trade it for the world, that was the most bonding experience I've ever had with my Dad. I love him.

My mom and dad separated when I was a baby so he wasn't really in my life. I could probably literally count the number of times I've seen him in person throughout my life on one hand. HOWEVER! I have a good memory from the most recent time I saw him, a few years ago. My dad had asked me about my life since he hadn't been there to see it, and he asked if I was dating. Similar to Ryan, I have a lot of self image and self confidence issues, so the answer was no, I wasn't and had never dated anyone, even though I was 30. There's that stereotype of dads never wanting their daughters to date anyone and I basically expected that kind of reaction (because hell, I don't know what dads are like in real life) but he was heart broken. He told me I should find someone, that I deserve to be with someone and have that experience in my life. It was a beautiful moment, and something I really wish I'd had growing up. Someone to tell me I deserve to feel good about myself and deserved someone who appreciated me and that being in a relationship was a valuable part of life. My mom, though I'm grateful to her for raising me, always had nothing but negative things to say about relationships since hers hadn't worked out. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten over my confidence issues so 3 years later I've still never been with anyone, but at least I have that encouraging memory of my dad to help me work on it.
@bonnie24347 жыл бұрын
I never loved smoking, but I did it a lot because of the social aspect. I felt so stupid not doing anything with my hands while standing outside shows with people who were smoking. Eventually I started bringing my yo-yo, but I still felt out of place. Now that I don't go to shows, I never have this problem. It feels good. I haven't smoked in like 6 months (applause!!). Bringing my lighter everywhere is still something I do. Just in case someone asks for a light. It's a good way to meet people sometimes. It sucks that's the way it is. Alcohol is kinda the same thing, but it's more fun and less dumb. And you can't just drink a beer outside a building for no reason. (It sucks that's the way it is.) My ex always said nicotine patches worked better for her. It might be the same for you, Ryan!! Anyway, keep it up. You should be proud of even wanting to quit. And congrats on the weight loss!! :>

Hey, Ryan! Use Mario, Rabbid Luigi, and Luigi. Buy new weapons at this point. If you've been stingy so far this is where it jumps in difficulty. Like I actually lost the first fight after getting all golds. Give Rabbid Luigi good dash damage, give Mario good stomp damage, give Luigi as many Steely Stare powerups as you can, reduce it's cooldown to 1 turn. Luigi's secondary attack is AMAZING for drawing enemy attacks, especially getting rid of enemy overwatch... err, villianwatch. You make a lot more in each chapter than before so you can upgrade now and upgrade half way through the chapter to weapons that also do special things. If you want, you can switch Luigi for Rabbid Mario. He's a little more situational though but he's really good at killing grouped up enemies. You don't really need healing with Peach or Rabbid Peach. Rabbid Luigi is a pretty good tank with vamp dash and his shield. Give everybody cleansing jump, and +1 movement since it's usually only 30 power orbs per character for the first one.
