I2-I1=2 is still corect since we assume that I1 and 2A is entering the node and I2 is leaving the node that would be I1+2=I2 or I1-I2=-2 or I2-I1=2 :)

Firstly, theory says - current is same across a series/loop circuit. Then, theory says - while assuming a super mesh, different components in the same series/loop circuit can have different current values. Theory is blunt. (-_-) (-_-)

Mesh analysis is based on sum of all potential in a Mesh... So if a voltage source is there, equation are easily formed, and values will be calculated but how could you treat current source as what potential it is delivering charges?... You have to apply kcl as well... So not a supermesh when voltage source

Current source just delivers the amount of current it specifies... The loop consisting the resistances, the electrons there suffers potential loss,, or voltage drop... Voltage of current source is not defined... You can better visualise it as energy source.... Like a ideal voltage source never fluctuates, the ideal current source never looses its rate flow of charge.... Which means huge energy source.
