Here KTM are talking about supermoto ABS. They don’t switch it off. If you do then you don’t have any ABS. I love it on mine!!

unfortunately, the only KTm produced in Austria are the 1290, and the 690 which is no longer available in Duke

KTM , why ABS on 990SMT/SMR is broken ? Only 42 000 km on odometer and "ABS motor malfunction" and I know a few more such cases , this is not an isolated problem ! The dealer only offers a replacement block for 2000 euros, which is 25% of the cost of the motorcycle!

look for used parts and the 990SM is one of the first motorcycles to have ABS, it's not the same development of the modules 15 years later. I bought a 1989 toyota, the abs is slammed and it's not surprising

@@alkane6467 , 990SMT/SMR have original unit of ABS and it cannot be replaced with a unit from another motorcycle. Even the 990 Adventure has a different ABS unit. PS Used units are very rare on sale, very expensive and there is no guarantee that after 1000 km they will not fail again. ((

Be sure to not be on a higher gear, if that's the case you'll have to press the clutch a bit so the engine doesn't cut off
