When Joel told the parents they should apologize to the neighbor because their kids were over there and the mother said well I wish the neighbor would’ve called me and told me they were there just blew my mind. Like it’s the neighbors fault that you’re not watching your kids.

The parents have the same lack of respect for others as their children do. These parents are oblivious to what their children do and don't enforce any rules or discipline. Some people shouldn't have children imo.

I started binge watching the Supernanny in the past week. I watched it years ago when it started and truly loved it. I am just amazed at how many families have sabotage their families. Parents who are lazy or want to be friends with their children won't get the rewards as the parents or single parents reap from doing the hard yards. This show is something that everyone should recommend to families who struggle.

Not knowing where your kids are, and not being on the same page about where your kids are and letting them run wild all over the neighborhood is how kids get abducted. Not in all circumstances, but it definitely gives sick people an opportunity to act.

I’m always shocked by how little parents do for their children. You are bringing up the next generation and don’t you want the best for your children and help them be confident, happy, successful people. These parents are useless!! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy but once you have their respect, you don’t need to raise your voice or need timeout. I always focused on the positive things they did and it just worked. Now, I’ve three happy successful child adults. Unfortunately I had to help them heal from their dads treatment but we did it.

Just today, my single adult son with 3 kids cooked dinner for his 3 kids. He yelled upstairs that “dinner’s ready.” His middle child, little girl about 10 years old, did not come down. He said that he called to her again. But she was “too busy” to come down right then. So after dinner they all cleaned their area washed their hand and were ready for the evening. Finally K came downstairs and claimed that she was ready for dinner. He told her, “too late, everything’s put away and you didn’t come when called” so no more dinner. Like we agreed, K won’t be later for meals from now on. He’s a perfect Father. He’s had his kids all Summer and they all had fun every single day. They go to bed when, “lights out.” And there’s never an argument in his home with kids. He and I agreed that being on SuperNanny would never work in his world. Yea, I’m a proud Mama. When my kids were children and they wanted , only once, to scream or tantrum we told them to go into your room and close the door ‘cause no one wants to hear them scream or cry. Family went on having fun and the screamer was isolated and not welcome to join the family till they calmed down…..Easy Peasy. Boundaries and Consequences works. 😊

I think they needed the locks up high on their doors, to keep the kids in the house. 🔒 That way they weren't running outside, and potentially getting hurt. Then the parents wouldn't have to run all over the place looking for them as well.
