So great that supernanny highlighted that so many kids are being misdiagnosed with ADHD when actually it’s that they weren’t taught boundaries, self soothing, how to occupy themselves etc when young. This just dilutes the needs of kids who really do have ADHD.

I have three children; when my daughter was born, I had three under 5. It was hard, but we got through it. We could go to shops, eat out, travel, do anything almost because we did those things often. My children learned very young that there are ways to behave in public and we praised their achievements and even other people around us did too. I lost count of the times when strangers complimented our children’s behaviour. All you need is routine and consistency

@@PS-bs8oe In some cases it is but not in every case. Hoarding can be down to OCD but some people see having children/pets as like some status symbol or think it makes them better somehow. Not necessarily has to be this couple, but like I was saying seen it before on this show and where one woman had the ambition of having 12 childen. She couldn't take care of the ones she already had and as usual was the older kids doing the childrearing.
