Luigi mvp of the episode. They would’ve all died if luigi didn’t have that 1up. But that makes peach the mvp for giving luigi the 1up. Peach put it into the right hands because she knew mario was irresponsible like we saw with him loosing the emerald tracker. So luigi is the mvp and peach too.

Techincally Luigi, Mario, and Shadow are the MVPS of the episode. Luigi finding that 1-up to save Mario caused Mario to be able to find the star to power up with Sonic to take back the emeralds from Mecha Sonic and having an emerald allowed Shadow to save all of their lives teleporting all of them off the island with chaos control.
