The animator suffers from depression, but he had been in a good enough place to want to go back into the animation side of things. After Nintendo shut down his patreon though, his depression got worse and he hasn’t come back to it

Yeah, that's Virtual Boy Vision. There's a lot of references to other stuff in SMBZ. Like at the time of the original, Mario Kart was the thing us fans loved Mario from the spinoffs, as we still do. But nowadays, it is Smash Bros in the Reboot, which makes sense due to what Brawl and Smash 4 became. Brawl was amazing, and Smash 4 had dlc characters like Bayonetta, Ryu, Cloud, Collin, Roy, and not to mention Mewtwo. Oh, and don't forget base character newcomers like Duck Hunt Dog, Mii Fighter, the new and improved Zero Suit Samus, Lucina and Robin, not to forget Rosalina & Luma. Oh, and Palutena. And Villager. And PAC Man. And Mega Man. And Greninja. So, naturally, they have to go with what is more popular. Mario Kart hasn't gotten less popular, it's just that Smash Bros got even more popular than Mario Kart. So Smash started less popular than Mario Kart, but Mario Kart stayed at, let's say at random, a million fans. Smash Bros went from half a million to 2 or 3 million fans. So it basically just got in total even more fans than Mario Kart. So it is more popular. Not that that is a bad thing, after all, it is Smash Bros. Look at Smash Ultimate! We're getting Ridley! And Chrom!

SuperNardful, sometimes, weaknesses doesn't work when you have insane defenses and spe defenses. Same case for attack and spe attack. And Pokken logic cannot be applied in every universes.
