Even Lucifer wasn't born evil. I think that was a major revelation in the last season. It wasn't even a natural decline based on Lucifer's nature (plus the right circumstances). The MARK did that to Lucifer, his reaction to humans was more the final straw than anything. So, if Lucifer was the best of the archangels and only with the Mark did he become what he became.... surely his offspring isn't evil JUST because it's Lucifer's.. At least that's what I hope. I like that they made CLEAR that Cas did NOT do anything to get on the angels's good side, his reputation, to regain heaven, but to protect the Winchesters. I don't know if it'll carry over after the end of this, but I like that Dean understands that Cas isn't 'betraying' anyone (doesn't make what he doe wise, but it's the classic Winchester 'do something stupid for the right reasons').

Yeah, but Lucifer, like Cain was already tainted by the Mark and will be like that forever. And I like it too..Cas...Strong again, but not the Winchesters' bitch or the angels' bitch, in fact may be the first instance he showed all 3

I think Cas is under the control of the Nephilim. As someone else pointed out here his eyes did not glow blue when he regained his power, but instead glowed yellow just like Kelly Kline's eyes did. Furthermore this season has gone out of its way to emphasize the lengths Cas would go to for the sake of the Winchesters, and just how much he loves this family. Now all of a sudden he sees Sam and Dean as a threat and unceremoniously ditches them for the sake of Lucifer's child? This despite the fact that it was both Sam and Dean who've been trying to _save_ Kelly and her child and Cas himself was trying to kill them? Something doesn't add up. I'm concerned what's going to happen from here, and I'm concerned that this betrayal might be the final straw for the Winchesters (mostly Dean) and may have caused irrevocable damage to Cas's relationship with the brothers. And I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. I hope you're doing okay.

VTL77 As someone who lived in the mixtape era, I can tell you that IN MOST CASES, giving someone a mixtape was almost /always/ a ronantic gesture. I can't believe this is canon. The writers went there. Textual Destiel is happening.

It certainly can be a romantic gesture, but it can also be a case of "Hey, this is music I like, and I think my pal here might like it too."

And interesting to see that each of the 'Princes of Hell' have their own weird issues, their 'thing'. Azazel obsessed with bringing the apocalypse and releasing Luci, Remiel seemed to just want to be left alone. Dagon and her darkside Leave it to Beaver fantasy, and nihilism (kill EVERYTHING? I wonder if Lucifer even knew that part... how do you rule anywhere if there's nobody TO rule?). Wonder what Asmodeus's thing will be?

They mentioned him...and there's only 4. So, who knows. Took, what, almost 10 seasons to get to another one after Azazel? Then we get through 3? And they BOTHER to say there's a fourth? (Unless they require even numbers...they could have said there's as many princes of hell as they want to..) So, I think he's at least held in reserve if they ever want to use him.

The only thing I don't like about Castiel in this season is, that he appears in one episode, then we don't see him for at least 2 or 3 episodes. And it goes like that through all season. I read in one homepage about characters appearing in every episode in this season, if it is true (and usually this site is correct), Castiel will now only appear in the last episode of the season.

I'm sorry how did the boys betray Cass in season 7 exactly was that after he sucked all if the Leviathan's out of Purgatory & into himself because "he was sure he knew what he was doing and he was going to fix everything " or before that when he brought down Sam's wall at the end of season 6 or how about all the times he lied when came back from Purgatory under Naomi's control but never said a thing and those are just the early betrayals now as I said I love Cass but my issue is that the Fandom forgives him anything but Mary trusts the wrong people for the right reasons and people want her dead my problem is what's up with women and the fans on this show because Mary hasn't done nearly as bad of things as Cass but he's okay but Mary oh hell no WTF.. is wrong with this I say a lot because she's a badass strong woman that the boys came from have a little respect please!!!👌❤💪👢🔪
