While Dean is a bit hard to like in these first few episodes, you can at least kinda understand why he's acting this way. Because Jack is Lucifer's kid, and Lucifer just killed his best friend, not to mention just how powerful Jack is. Dean is terrified to let anyone get hurt again, especially after not being able to save Cas

Dean is back in season 7 mode, and Sam is seeing himself in Jack. Jack has his own path, and the nature vs nurture thing is very interesting to me. I’m at the point in seeing it play out in my kids as they reach adulthood. I find it interesting to see how writers deal with the concept.

I think in his own dark twisty way Dean was trying to be comforting to Jack at the end. He was telling Jack not to be suicidal, now yes he did that by saying he'd kill him, but it was to get his mind off killing himself and like I said Dean is dark and twisty right now.

Dean is always touted as the fatherly brother but I really love how Sam stepped in here on Jack's behalf as he can very much relate with Jack as you mentioned.

Jack is a strange element and obviously it’s difficult to trust and nurture this literal man baby. So I get the behaviors but it’s so painful to watch. Dean is grieving and untrusting. He feels like Daddy’s blunt instrument again due to the circumstances before him so he’s gone into that mode. He needs to snap out of it and be hopeful and logical about Jack. I hate Asmodeus as well. Him and his Kentucky Fried suit.😅. Mr. Rogers helped shape who I am and I say that proudly.

As much hate as Asmodeus gets and deserves at least he's a new character, what really bothered me was this AU Miachel. Seriously who was asking for an alternate version of Miachel or Miachel in general? The showrunners themselves forgot about him in season 11. Yeah Miachel might be ranked high on the most powerful villains on the show, but he's the lowest in terms of personality and motives.

Dean is just broken. We know that when he is depressed and feels like there's no fix, he tends to lash out. Jack is the target right now because he definitely blames Jack for Cas's death. I like Jack, but honestly? I was always ambivalent toward him. Maybe it's because I don't resonate with season 13 at all.

I understand Deans side. He is just not doing well right now and I don’t blame him at all. These guys just go through it. I think he did the best he could with sam considering everything they had to go against. I do like Jack he is funny when he doesn’t know about small basic stuff 😅❤
