This is not a spoiler but something I noticed you guys referred to a few episodes ago and I wanted to clarify: the premise of the show is that AFTER John saw Mary on the ceiling, he started researching and found out about the supernatural world. John wasn’t part of that life prior to Mary’s death. I think that’s important to know for season 1. They hunt things along the way, but their goal and reason for getting into this life has always been to find the thing that killed their mom, because that’s what John has instilled in them.
