Gilmore girls reference is an Easter egg, because Jared Padalecki (Sam), also had a big role on that show. Not to mention, both shows are on the same network!

Tbh, Gilmore girls is a fantastic show. The dialogue in that show is so witty and the characters are great.

Jared Padalecki was in “Gilmore Girls”, so that bit was a fourth wall break.

These behind the scene Supernatural episodes are some of my personal favorites. I also like how normal people got to experience their world.

Honestly, Dean being a pa would be the best job for him if he wants to stop being a hunter. At least he's getting paid .

I loved Jared's comment about the Canadian weather. It really is a character of its own, being from Vancouver where it's filmed, it rains most days from November to April. If you like podcasts, 2 of the actors from this show have one, deep diving into the episodes, they really hated our weather. ATTENTION. DO NOT look into the podcast til after watching the entire show to avoid mass spoilers.

The helicopter crash was the Twilight Zone Movie it killed Vic Morrow and 2 kids. Poltergeist has a whole different bag of crazy associated with it.

No one died on the set of poltergeist, 4 actors died differently years later. The little actress died from a misdiagnosis of Chrohn, the actress that played her sister was killed by her husband, another actor was cancer stricken, and one died during a transplant. One actress claimed Spielberg used live skeletons since at the time it was cheaper than practical props, but this was never substantiated.
@arthurclifford82902 жыл бұрын
I don't know if there was a story like this on Poltergeist. But the helicopter story you are thinking of was related to the Twilight Zone movie where the girl and boy from Poltergeist were also starring and were injured or died as part of the helicopter scene.

The helicopter tragedy happened on the set of The Twilight Zone Movie, like you said...but, it wasn't the 2 kids from Poltergeist that were involved, it was 2 Vietnamese children, as well as actor Vic Morrow, who died during the stunt.
@Nah_Mate_Aint_Nowt2 жыл бұрын
Yep it was Twighlight Zone the Movie (like what JD NAZ128 says) the Poltergeist story is based round the Idea they thought it was cursed because of the Bodies used on set and the deaths happend after or close to the end of shooting across all three movies. I think the sister from the first one was murdered, the villain from the second one from Cancer I think and the girl who played Carole Anne after the third one died from complications involving Crohns Disease.
@Dannydarko272 жыл бұрын
@@Nah_Mate_Aint_Nowt it wasnt even close to the shooting. Some died years apart. What made it creepy was the continuity error that showed a poster for a Superbowl set 6 years later and the child actress died the day after the superbowl
@BlackDerek2 жыл бұрын
@@Dannydarko27 The child actress was in 1988 which was the same year that Poltergeist 3 came out.

14:30-14:33 It always made me suspicious for some reason how often you could find the devil's number as well as the skull & bones symbol show up in such inconspicuous places in all type's of film and tv series when you train your eye to look for it.

It's called motivated perception - if you look for something, you find it. If you've got Kia Souls on the mind, you'll see them everywhere too, and then wonder when Kia Souls got so popular. (This one's happened to my family in particular, ever since a Kia dealership opened near their neighborhood, to the point where four people in my immediate family all drive some model of Kia brand car now, typically a Soul; it's hilarious.) Or you'll read something about repetitive numbers being "angel numbers" or omens from the universe, and then you'll start seeing repeating numbers everywhere. I've been putting up with this as well, because a friend of mine is very new-agey, posts on social media about them all the time, and now I always notice when the likes on a video or comment are alliterative (i.e. 555, 333, 222). Have stoner friends? Get ready to always notice when it's 4:20, even if you don't smoke yourself. It's one of those funny tricks our brains play on us, like pareidolia; something we developed back in ye olden days for survival and just never grew out of, for better or worse. Have fun with it! There's no harm, as long as you don't let it freak you out.

I think you're far enough into s2 to see the boys interact at a convention without being spoiled... unless you don't want to be pulled from the fantasy to their real lives. That wrecks thing for some people.. not me. I get lost in the plot no matter how many times I've seen an episode or them at conventions. There's a playlist up of all J2 con panels, in order.. well mostly. There are a few up that happened before this episode was filmed: fun stuff but hard to stop watching. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpSnd2utrs91m9U In this episode, all the "notes" given about the series being too dark n stuff... actual notes from the studio that Kripke kept and put in as a little wink at them.
