About the phrase Jumping the Shark... from Wikipedia: "The phrase is pejorative and is used to argue that a creative outlet or work appears to be making a misguided attempt at generating new attention or publicity for something that is perceived once to have been widely popular, but is no longer" The phrase came about in response to a Happy Days episode where someone literally jumped a shark with a water ski

It is so fun to watch you go through similar thoughts/feelings as 'we all' did. I loved this one and kind of hated it too. Good to have some backstory and of course more character depth. I grinned ear to ear to hear you call them "my boys" :)

This episode made me wonder how many other monsters the Winchesters took out had families of their own. Even Azazel considered Meg and that other demon like his daughter and son.

I Loved this storyline about Adam being John Winchesters secret son Sam and Dean's little half brother. John had a lot of secrets but i think it was wrong for him to hide Adam from Sam and Dean because they could've grew up knowing him having a relationship being loved by people who would probably be more around than John and he robbed them of that. I would think John would try to find someone after losing Mary a long time ago. But I always hate it when they kill the sibling before they get a chance to meet. That was a sad ending when Dean found the real Adam while That ghoul was telling Sam he really was his brother. It really seemed like while Dean didnt want to believe it and shut it off while Sam enjoyed playing the big brother role. Thats so sad.. This was a sad episode

You were right to be skeptical! And Dean knew it was a trap but he always thinks everything is a trap & it usually is. It's funny when the boys do rock, paper, scissors, Dean ALWAYS picks scissors & loses. LOL! When Sam came in the motel door they showed a long shot, which included an ad card on top of a table or something, which had a picture & name on it of Kim Manners, who was a director/producers on the show since the beginning & he died of lung cancer. That was like a tribute to him. John's too attractive to live as a hermit all those years, and oops! At least 1 extra kid out there. Too bad he died by a monster but that's the way any Winchester would go, I figure. I don't think it would fit very well into the series if he lived just going to med school somewhere. It's a story of 2 brothers. They couldn't just live their lives & ignore him forever. He had to go. Great reaction!!! Did you say your new kitty's name was Ruby? She looks so calm & sweet. Not like a demon kitty at all! LOL! 👵❤☮ Thank you! See you next week.
