I think Sam was being shitty and gave Dean no other choice because Sam was definitely in the wrong when it came to Benny

Dean texting was not too far. Sam was written all weird and jealous, even Jared admitted to that. Plus he left Dean maybe concussed and handcuffed while he went to murder his friend. And the Sam flash backs like he had PTSD like Dean....which he did not. Bleh. It was bullshit.

4:35 I'm more surprised Sam didn't think Martin a old hunter who's a little crazy wouldn't be automatic biased against monsters! Of course this was going to end badly. Martin would think Benny is evil no matter what even if he died saved a puppy right in front of him.😅

I told someone a while back that even Garth would've been a better choice to follow Benny. Garth might be a little "off" but he at least has common sense.

I love Benny so much and even though it sucked that Dean had to do that Sam didn’t give him much choice which was pretty shitty of Sam and like I’ve said before I really hate the Sam and Amelia storyline it was crap I’m glad Jared hated it too.

Every Sam storyline is perfect. Dean however is soooooo blah.

@@collycarson6001 Sam is so blah, every storyline he has is just a result of his behavior, for the main character he was pretty terrible for the first nine seasons.

I wanted an entire season in Purgatory too! Benny is one of my favorite characters on the show.

Season 8 has some of the most intricate some may even say convoluted plots going on but I have to say it really does works ... and crazy it is.. were only in episode 9 and it's just the beginning..

I think Elizabeth killed Martin to save Benny's life that's why shes covered in more blood than when he had just cut her neck. Also Amy had killed people after she had promised not to even if it was for her son, before Dean killed her. Benny had kept his nose clean since he got back from being Purgatory and even if it would have saved Elizabeth he was willing to die again. But also Sam had already killed Dean's daughter Emma in part retaliation to Amy's death. I think Sam was just holding a grudge against Dean because Amy was his first love. Sam left Amelia without knowing that Dean was back. He was just going to Bobby"s cabin that Dean happened to be at. Remember Sam was super surprised that Dean was back and Dean was like why is your phone not working and Sam said he turned it off.

Man, I love Sam's hair. Martin still needs to be in the looney bin. Oh well, too late. Elizabeth is Lisa's friend in the Changeling episode. Season 8 is so awesome.

To me, the difference between Amy and Benny, is that Amy had killed humans, whatever the reason. Benny had not - at least until Martin - although that could be explained as self-defence, or as a soldier on the opposing side who was looking for trouble - not a civilian. So, in my mind Benny is more similar to that girl in Bitten (which is an episode I love!). And as both Madison and Amy had killed humans - and Amy more than one. ...By the way, I love how much you love Supernatural! I've been bingeing your reactions and am almost up-to-date :) So fun to re-watch for the umpteenth time. You've made look at some episodes differently which I'm loving :)

Why is it that people are ok for Sam to hold a grudge against dean forever didn't he kill Dean's daughter for Amy. I just find it weird when fans are like Sam is wrong but he is right, but Dean is right but he is wrong🙄

Exactly. I mean honestly Sam has done more to dean then dean has does to sam but in this situation it’s mostly grey but there are some lighter greys and darker greys. Like Sam went too far with this even though it isn’t black and white. And dean may have killed Amy but he’s changed and Benny is good and this episode showed he wasn’t like Amy.

When you said killing off a character far to soon I'm like you realized how many times dean got killed off lol 😆 and yes I've seen buffy the vampire slayer and the spinoff angel
