I Love this episode! Dean and Cas really give dad vibes when with Claire. Kathryn is a professional golfer and Jensen golfs as well so it's cool they paired them up for putt putt

Cas & Dean are definitely dads here, though that's mostly thanks to the other Clarie episodes this season, which is why Sam falls short. The other two episode with Clarie in it though they didn't get along well cemented her relationship with Cas & Dean. With Castiel it was all obvious. Claire and Dean have similar personalities and other character commented on it and mentioned that Dean would be the best choice to talk to her and reason with. The two have a great banter and yeah she lead Dean to a trap but warned him at the last second saving him, this adds conflict and drama to their relationship which make them making up and working together in this one all the more meaningful and impactful, same goes for Cas. Now Sam does have a great moment with Claire, what he said about her fathers Jimmy's sacrifice. But the issue is again this is their only moment alone together so it doesn't have as much weight as with Dean and Cas

@@patrickmcguire7896 Yup i agree, i had to repost cause i got attacked by a Jared/Sam stan for including him in my comment beforehand, but Sam did have some good moments with Claire but they weren't as significant as the ones with Cas and Dean.

I like Claire...how she said to Dean to take care of Cas and then goes and hug him Well at least Jimmy & Emilia are reunited in Heaven. Ohh the next one is really going to be tough!!!

I loved Dean and Claire together! Dean is always the best with kids even with he's going crazy from the Mark. I just love their dynamic and how much they related to one another and bounded, over mini golf of all things

You skipped most of the scenes with Cas and Sam in the car. I like this scenes because its one of the rare ones where its a scene with Sam & Cas that has nothing to do with Dean and isn't an action scene. Sam & Cas are great together but my only issue is their usually only together because its for Dean's sake or because Dean isn't around. We've had a ton of moments between these two this season but none of it was really developing their friendship, it was for the sake of Dean, it's nice to see them talk about stuff going on in their lives that isn't about Dean and deal with issues not related to him

I really didn’t have interest in this episode for a while, but it definitely has heart. I think my main gripe is that the actress that played the mom changed from the last time we saw her, and I preferred the original.

so.. did you watch DOOL in the Jensen years? I assume you know he was on there and won a daytime Emmy for it, right? I think his acceptance speech is still up on youtube.. maybe 144p. I'm not a big country music fan either and I agree.. Uncle Willie is an exception. I thought this episode was an attempt to have Dean appear more fatherly than *hottest fella in the room.. fandom can multitask those.

@@margaretgarside5617 oh absolutely not. Sorry if it read that way. it was more a..good try writing staff but it back fired..it made him more adorable. I know that's not terribly clear.. I've only had a sip of coffee and it's not breaking dawn yet. um.. The writers can; GenX, old man, dad bod, take your daughter to work day - Dean, but fandom isn't biting..
