Y'know as old as this episode is and as much as I've watched it, I just realized today that Dean got on the plane, not to save all those people, but because Sammy says he'll do the job alone. And the only thing that scares dean more than flying (which he can't even say, by the way) or cats flying out of old metal lockers :), is being left alone without his brother. Can't believe it took me this long to see why he changes his mind.

Y'know when you think about it, it's usually Dean's emotions that are out of ontrol, be it fear or anger or self-indulgence, very rarely Sammy's so in that aspect, Sam is almost always the caretaker. Dean just can't hold on all that tightly.

@Pleasantry he was 27 lol. Jensen changed the voice to mimic the on screen dad but mostly it is a thing done to make the actor look more manly, he probably did it because of that. His natural voice also did change but ya he plays it deeper and its no secret. He has said it that the voice was deep and then his started getting deeper which made the Dean voice weird. Castiel also has a fake deep voice. Good that the show is over before they got throat damage.
