I was sad Metatron died. I feel like he kinda redeemed himself after he became human. He started to understand what hope and feelings really were. Angels don't really have emotion so Metatron was new to it and tried to do better, yes he was still annoying but he mean't well in the end in my opinion. Great Episode!

Metatron was one of my favorite villains. He was clever and had some very deep-seated emotional motivations, rather than the one-dimensional motivations we’ve had from a number of villains.

@@Belnick6666It doesn’t invalidate his wrongs, but change is real. I’m both glad and sad that they killed Metatron. He’s been almost nothing BUT an evil pain in the ass, but he did have a moment of redemption in his final moment. That moment of change and redemption makes his death painful. People don’t change in complete 180s, so it’s likely that he would have largely reverted to his old ways, and only grow honorable slowly, but he made the right choice and he died for it. That sucks. He’s brilliantly written and that shows by me both rooting for his death and mourning him.

idk, i kinda liked metatron at the end. even in the beginning i liked his nicknames like "asstiel" lol edit: might be because his actor did such a great job portraying him.

Creo que la serie le faltó mejor escritura en esa parte, por más que Sam quisiera ayudará a salvar el mundo, poner a Sam tan cerca de Lucifer y tener que actuar como si nada hubiera pasado, esto para mí fue muy bajo, y peor aún que se metiera en su habitación, esto me dio asco y más cuando se da a entender que Lucifer abuso de Sam.

Metatron isn’t having his ideal of god be crushed cuz he made it up cuz he literally did talk to him and knew him a bit cuz he’s God’s writer boy remember lol It’s just Metatron is disappointed and outraged by how God is acting letting his time as Chuck affected him so he wants more of the OG God btw Metatron isn’t a complete piece of shit he never was, he is very much egotistical and cares mostly about his own survival like how he helped the native Americans for their stories cuz he loves stories and to stay hidden. Then he saw how heaven was in a mess and how Cass was easy to manipulate so he used him to get revenge on the angels who wanted to use him ruining heaven then with the fall he was able to try fixing heaven in his favor letting that get to his head he tried to become God which he did try with the Angel Tablet showing us how corrupt and awful he could be with the power going to his head even trying to be praised by humans. Till he was stripped of his power yet this only made him bitter and hateful so he waited to get revenge which he was trying till he lost his grace. When he lost his Grace he became human which made him feel pain, real with issues humans have, seeing how hard it was for humans and having to deal with it made him feel more empathy eventually seeing the error of his ways now that he was powerless having the opposite affect that having power did to him. And now funny enough Metatron will try to save us all now trying to get through with God since he knows him and cares about creation hoping he will care again too. But yeah I hated him for the shit he did and he isn’t a good person yet he might redeem himself if he can get through to Chuck here Also Metatron wasn’t a coward as “God” like he even went against Dean with the mark and let Cass build an army, he was only a coward when he was a normal angel or when powerless so he’s right here But yeah this reveal for us and the boys was great, surprising, and impact lol Metatron helped saved the boys by convincing God aka Chuck on why Humanity was great and deserved to be saved. He saved them by sacrificing himself, taking to God, and giving info he had to help creation so gotta give him credit there. Curtis Armstrong is a great actor for sure lol Also I get why you hate him and you don’t have to forgive him but you do tend to go a bit far to the point you don’t even give him credit or just ignore good shit he does or just assume he’s gonna do something bad and won’t do shit so yeah it’s a common thing I see you do with other characters too and it’s fine yet I had to point it out lol no hate just constructive criticism.

I don't know why you took such a dislike to Metatron but I thought he really redeemed himself! I've seen some reactors sad or unbothered but you're the first I've seen to be happy with his death lol. I felt like his arc really came full circle showing humanity and sacrificing himself...

More of an inside joke with my viewers. He’s the only character that really got under my skin triggering a reaction of dislike from me. I noted his arc and felt the actor did an incredible job at portraying him. The happy dance was me remembering all the times he never shut up waffling, how he treated Cas, how he stabbed Dean etc. And now no more of that haha.

@@DakaraJayne I like characters that are talkative/annoying especially in Supernatural because they're so few and far between. So many characters are big and brooding and hold so much pain its nice to have a comedic relief character every once in a while. Gabriel is another example.

In the previous episode when metatron said “You know i was a crappy terrible god”, you know what as bad as he was I forgave him, because at least he had the balls to admit his mistakes, n in the end he tried to help. Was wounded when she killed him, n not only that gadreel should have had more scenes, he was an amazing actor👌🏻💯

hah!just bunch of two episodes don't redeem him for all of the evil things he did during 4 seasons!killing their friends,screwing heaven and angels and 9x23(which she probably hasn't got over)and he also only cared about universe as long as he's the famous girl in the school!not beyond that!so even these two episodes doesn't change anything!he was worse than any other villain of the show for freaking 4 seasons and the damage he caused,never actually fixed!

Amara isn't really trying to consume Dean, Amara and Chuck are opposites but also in a way somewhat the same and they cannot exist without each other. Amara wants to replace Chuck with Dean. Amara fundamentally needs to be part of a pair.
