This episode gave me the chills... I think this Dean was even darker than demon Dean... Jensen was AMAZING in this episode, and I have to admit, I enjoy his revenge, but when he pulls off the trigger and kills the teenage boy, that broke my heart. I never saw him being that DARK in the entire series...

It still gets me when Charlie's death was the last pulled string for Dean to go all killer mode. I sometimes forget how much he cared for her and considered her family.

remember when cain said that dean is living his life in reverse, first he s gonna kill his enemies (here the stynes) then his angel then his brother? i love the fact that even though the mark is driving him crazy, he still couldnt kill his angel.

Love this episode and the whole Mark of Cain story line - one of my favourites. Don't get me wrong I love Dean but Mark of Cain Dean - whew. My only two wishes 1) Charlie did not die 2) they portrayed the Styne family better eg more of a build up and without the accents.

I'd forgotten how intense and powerful this episode is! gosh, every second of it gives me chill even in rewatching for god knows how many times! Jensen's acting is everything. this man is everything! I still can't believe Dean fell this much. this dark. I always kinda forget how he really was the ultimate killer and there are oceans of blood on his hands. bcz well, he's Dean:) and the last part with Cas, how Cas just wants to defend and doesn't hurt Dean. I suddenly found myself in tears again. This episode is Supernatural at its top. in quality, acting, plot, pain, and pain and pain.

I wish we had more of MoC Dean, with him going full tilt bad and Sam and Cas trying to catch up to him and stop him. Rowena running off with the book and Codex and Charlie in hot pursuit. What a storyline that would've made!

This is exactly what I wanted from season 10 when they teased us with demon Dean . It's sad that we didn't get more dark Dean thats y I don't like season 10 that much . Jensen is so good in that . Atleast we got one episode of him being completely bad which I loved

I hate Dean's fall in this episode, I'm this season really, but after what they did to Charlie they all deserved this. The Steins were monsters who just happened to be human. Dean did the world a service.

Nope, not even close. Soulless Sam was trying to kill Bobby, Dean was just trying to stop/get away from Cas. Only for half a second there at the end did I believe Cas was in danger of anything more than a beat down, whereas I was genuinely scared for Bobby.

I kinda think sam is overreacting about everything even cas. They hyped up any sign. Like when dean roughed up to guy that gave cas's host body daughters mom to the angel they acted like he went all evil when normal dean would do the same exact thing. Then getting revenge for Charlie plus taking out a entire family of monsters was the most dean thing ever. The only time the mark got to him was after he killed them all him killing the kid and beating cast up

@@Ladylike79 I don’t understand why you’re so angry. I see it like this, Cass was doing his everything he could to prevent the Apocalypse from coming to fruition. He killed angels like Uriel in 4x16 b/c he wanted it to happen and Cass didn’t. In season 5 Cass was basically on his own b/c the angels didn’t mess w/ anymore. He was considered a traitor in their eyes. If you remember in 4x7 Cass & Uriel we’re going to destroy an entire town b/c there was a demon in town & they want to make sure that no seals were broken, so Lucifer wouldn’t rise. So when your only allies are Sam, Dean, and Bobby you've been trying to prevent the final battle between Michael & Lucifer, and one allies (Dean) wants to say yes, even though you've been trying everything to prevent it, you tend to get a little pissed off. So what Cass did to Dean in the alley, I understood that.

I love this show and I do love Dean but he's the biggest hypocrite last season he got Kevin killed to save Sam. He killed Sam's monster friend but wont let anyone kill Benny. He got pissed off at Cas because he didn't jump when Dean called yet he was in the middle of the war in heaven but when Cas needs help where's Dean?

Really? I see Sam as the hypocrite this season. Last season Sam damn near disowned Dean for doing everything in his power to save him. Sam even broke Dean's heart saying he wouldn't do the same for him if the roles were reversed. However, in this season that's exactly what he does. He goes against Dean's wishes time and again to save him. He even admits to Dean that he didn't mean what he said last season and states that he can't live without him. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Sam for doing everything he can to save Dean this season, but I also loved Dean for doing it for Sam last season. I don't know why anyone gives either one of them grief about it 🤷‍♀️ Oh, and did you really compare Amy to Benny? Sam knew Amy for a day back when he was a kid, while Dean had just spent the most harrowing year of his life with Benny in Purgatory...Benny saved him multiple times while there, and if it weren't for him, Dean would never have gotten out of Purgatory. Then, Benny literally dies for Dean so he can save his brother (the same brother who wanted him dead, no less) And yes, I'm aware that Amy killed her mom to save Sam, but Amy couldn't stand her mom and she hated her life with her mom. So yeah, there's no comparison there.

Funny, I seem to remember Sam accepting full blame multiple times in season 5, even though he had NO idea that killing Lilith would cause Lucifer's release, he was trying to shtop it. And Dean did START the apocalypse, even though he also had no idea that would happen. Both of them played their parts in it but both were clueless it was happening
