I think it's kinda like Jesse. No one wants to take the chance of the baby going evil cause it could quite literally kill the world. And well we've seen how powerful Jesse, a half demon half human kid, was. And now we're talking about LUCIFER'S SON. A literal archangel's kid. They assume that he will be evil by nature. "It's like asking a lion not to be a lion"

Personally, I don’t enjoy this season as much as earlier or later seasons but I won’t lie and say that some of my favorite moments don’t come from season 12. There’s a lot to enjoy about this season. I hated BMOL as a concept but loved Ketch and Mick as characters. Love the build up to the eventual birth of the Nephilim ( which does become a regular character in the next season, but I won’t say more than that). I didn’t love Mary as a character, didn’t think she needed to come back to be honest, but again, there are some truly amazing moments that happen between her and Sam and Dean that I’m often able to overlook the fact that she’s one of my least favorite characters for how much authenticity Samantha Smith brings out in Jared and Jensen throughout this season. She does form a really interesting relationships with some other characters next season that I think you’ll be compelled by, so I’m excited to go ahead and get into season 13.

Yeah I agree with everything you've said. I did like Mary most of the time, but I think they could've done a bit more with her character. I dunno what they could've done, there was just something kinda off about her sometimes, however, I loved her interactions with the boys and Cas as well. You said everything much better than I could so I feel like my comment is pretty useless tbh 😂

I hate the BMOL. They are definitely NOT indicative of what us Brits are actually like. Harry Potter's more realistic than this lot 🤣
