My favorite part of this episode is actually something Jared and Jensen said about it later. Ruby is Jared’s wife in real life. He is concerned about his kids watching this episode when they are older. “Daddy? Why did Uncle Jensen stab mommy. And why were you helping him?”

The foreshadowing goes all the way back to the end of season 3. When the mom of Lilith's little girl body was reading the story about the Princess being sacrificed to the dragon. Lucify is symbolized by a serpent/dragon. Lilith, being the first female turned to a demon, makes her, in some sense, a princess.

This ending of season 4 is so good. And I never expected angel's wanted the apocalypse to happen too, that was a major shocker for me. Again Bobby saves the day with his amazing speech. In this episode castiel became my favourite character ever . He is amazing ♥️

I completely understand where you're coming from. I watched all 6 seasons of Lucifer long before I watched supernatural, so I had very high expectations for him, especially with how much people seemed to like him.

Although I have only seen bits of the show Lucifer, i can tell the two Lucifer's are very different. I suspect he will initially prefer the one he already knows which i think is natural as it is imprinted in his mind already. The only reason he may prefer the SPN one if he knows the actor from other shows and has a liking for his work on those shows. One in particular which we all know.

He wasn't thinking straight. He was hopped up on demon blood + Ruby did a phenomenal job of manipulating him by actually saving his, Dean's and other people's lives numerous times and getting him to indulge in the idea that he's the only one to save the world.

It’s crazy how the symbolism works on the show. Like this season, Dean got closer to Angels while Sam got closer to Demons. Dean followed the right path while Sam was descending to darkness.
