This episode is good, but tough to watch. Not as good or tough to watch as the previous one, but still... Chrissy is an interesting character. Too cocky and sure of herself for her own good. Reminded me a little of Dean. Speaking of Dean he really is affected by the loss of Bobby; he froze in the line of duty, for Pete sake! But he took Frank's advice to heart. I'm not sure how I feel about Frank, but his advice stuck with me. It is the first quote from this show I ever wrote down. The quotes from Bobby, I don't have to write down: I know them by heart...I miss him.

The Gamble era really isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. She had a lot of interesting ideas, and she remembered to keep up with important character moments like Sam being a law student and also him having demon powers. The future showrunners kinda forgot all about that (and about Sam as a character in general tbh 👀). The Carver era does have some really great lore in it though. In my opinion it's Kripke >> Carver > Gamble >>>> Dabb

@@george5954 I think they stopped having character development in S8. I think they stopped giving a shit about the continuity of the characters and their relationships, and their development in the Carver era. Theres too many moronic errors. At least it wasn't genuinely awful and insulting until Dabb took over. I say each showrunner is worst than the last.

@@cyrisssmith8830 I agree mainly. I think the lack of character development in the final half of the series is a huge issue. There was also a ton more wasted potential and writers who didn't know what they were doing. Bucklemming alone are heinous. I only say I prefer Carver to Gamble because I find a lot of the Demon Tablet/Mark of Cain/Darkness stuff a lot more interesting than Leviathans etc. But we can all agree the Dabb era was a big shame

Sometimes Winchesters could kill a bunch of SWAT squad, then next time can't hold a knife properly in the hand :D but the end of the episode just broke me

Ah yes... hating everything. I know this Supernatural inspired feeling. I think I've mentioned before that one of the top three things I shout while watching is: "I hate you show.' And also 'I love this show.'
