As you can see, Lima’s really good at this matchup. But after the wash of the first Olimar game, Dabuz basically opted to negate Pikmin pressure (from side B) and instead play reactive like a swordie. The gameplay shift imo is what pushed Dabuz to complete the reverse 3-0 but sheesh is it scary for an Olimar to play against Lima’s insane witch time timing even though it’s a “winning” matchup.

You can really see it in game 4 when he takes a complete disinterest in white, red, and usually blue pikmin. They don't serve the gameplan of swinging a sword from a safe distance, and they risk Lima getting free Witch Time if they're latched on, so he just chucks them away. This set is a stunning example of why people have said for years that Dabuz might be the best defensive player in the world.

Love seeing a Dabuz W. Reverse 3-0 is rare for him but this one was what we needed. Him and Leo getting them at the same time was amazing to witness. Some intertwining destiny stuff right there. Shoutouts to my goats Dabuz and MkLeo.
