similar charcteristic but cp100+ is firmer (i have both). either of them also pretty hard to match with iem

imho the only reason to use the customizable filter is when one year is more sensitive to treble than the other. Otherwise you want the unfiltered treble filter to get the maximum out of the BAs and then use EQ.

Hello, I'm a little confused with FIIO. I just bought their FH7 and I like it. What does the S in this FH7S stand for? What I do like about the FH7 is the bass, to me the forward sounding mids and vocals and nice highs. I like the soundstage but I feel like it could have a slightly wider sound stage. If you've tried out the FH7 I would appreciate your opinion on the differences. Thanks!

S stands for soundstage ....all s series are open back design....

FH7 is closed IEM but the soundstage using a balanced silver cable is pretty good. Also bass and sub bass are exceptional! The resolution and treble extension is very good. In fact, I think after several reviews that the FH7S is a warmer sound-tuned version of the FH7, so a better bet would be the FH9, but I do not own it.

Is the FH3 still worth buying at a discount or pre-owned in 2023, (close enough lol), when compared to your budget 2022 budget winner C2 (vs Jade Audio EA1 at same price), or step up to TRN ST5 or TRUTHEAR x Crinacle Zero for approx same $. Genres classic/80s/90s Rock n 80s/90s New Wave

@@SuperReview Yeah, no worries. Every KZbinr does that. It’s just that everyone’s ear drums are different and the sound pressure required to stimulate nicely can vary from person to person. Thanks for your work and effort though. If anyone wanted to know anything before buying these items, your review is a good place to get info.
