Excellent comparison! By the way, the "Thieaudio Mk2" is referring to Monarch Mk2, right? Fiio did well if it can exceed Monarch Mk2 technically.

when I listen to Variations, I find the bass guitar, kick drum, all other fundamentally low-region instruments sound somewhat inaccurate in terms of energy level compared to other instruments. it's also thinner sounding on the upper midrange compared to Monarch MKii for example. I've listened to it on many different occasions including recording sessions. overall, I find it a little unnatural sounding for many different kind of recordings playback. perhaps it fits your HRTF very well, or maybe it fits your library better than mine.

Mark from super review gave these a 4/5 stars. I’m going to pass on these, only because I have too many and I can’t afford them lol. I have a dunu falcon ultra coming this weekend and I’m waiting on my penon anniversary to get replaced….or fixed or me getting f’d over by penon. I hope they decide to be nice and just replace them…but my package is being held in customs I guess. Idk if that’s normal?

It looks like a European design. The shell design seems to be preferred by women and is very pretty. It's too bad that there's only one color.
